Gets the Job Done
Quality:
The metal casing version give a good quality feel to it and ruggedness. Plus the carrying case that comes with it is a super plus. I keep the foam cover over the top of the mixer while in the carrying so not to damage teh knobs and sliders.
Features:
Nice features, really basic, but gets the job done. Virtual DJ (LE) comes with it. NOt a ton of features but enough FX to have people think you are a professional mix master (or at least know what you're doing). I do feel they could at least give you a full version of VDJ.
Ease of Use:
I called Place the order on thursday and was at my door Monday. Slapped in Software Disc. Loaded drivers and software. Was practiacing in 10 min. Quite easy.. i say. Real simple display. Iti doesnt have 500 buttons and knobs just to stop the song. Layout on the mixer real simple and understanding.
Sound:
The tone through the headphones is great. The 3 way EQ on the mixer gives a little help & boost for sound quality, but overall sound will depend on your track, Amplifier and speakers. So 4 out of 5 stars on sound. Since it CAN'T do it all by it's self.
Overall:
Overall.. i like it ;) ..coming out of retirement 20 years for friends & family (only)..it was really cumbersome at first getting used to little jog wheels instead of a full vynl record. But with 4-5 hours of practice i got used to it. And it reminded me why i got out of the DJ world. Hauling heavy bulky equipment. But this little thing & a laptop plus external hard drive, all can fit one bag is awesome. Yes it's not as flashy as some of the others i tested and played with in the stores. But, it still does the same thing. Plays & controlls the MP3s. I havent found one where you can play 3 & 4 songs at a time, so therefore this will do just fine. Especially for the $$.
Value:
Good Vaule? Yes. Price point is pretty good (i could have stood to get a 25% discount, because i pinch pennis) But, it's worth the buy.

D.J. Rich Alice Tx.
Quality:
This item is great especially with Virtual dj. The graphics are alittle slow but of course that has no bearing on this item. I do recomend that you upgrade the software to the newset version. It costs around $250, but is still less than serato.
Features:
I love this thing. It beats carrying around the coffin with the cdjs around. Of course you can still hook up your cdjs or turn tables to it to get its full potential. If I had to change anything, it would have touch sensitive jog wheels.
Ease of Use:
Very easy to use and map out.
Sound:
The buit in sound hasn't diisapointed me yet.
Overall:
I love it.
Value:
Good deal. Latency could be a little better, but it beats buying two ttbs or cdjs and a mixer.

Worth the money.
Quality:
Well made. I like the feel of the metal construction.
Features:
The features are adequate. You could do gigs with the console once you set it up.
Ease of Use:
A beginner should be able to use it. Other programs are able to be use with the console. You will have to remap the midi for the buttons to be recognized.
Value:
The product is worth the selling price, especially since it has a built in interface.
Appearance:
The console is beautiful.

Control and Audio all in one, can't go wrong!
Quality:
it is definitely well built, it feels solid. The only objection are the side holes for the rack ears, they're too small; I'd rather have bigger screws holding it.
Features:
It would be nice to have a power button, even though it is USB powered. The version if Virtual DJ that comes with it is very limited. I recommend using Traktor instead or at least upgrading to Virtual DJ pro.
Ease of Use:
it is very intuitive and easy to learn. Good response time for control actions. The mapping for Traktor is a little tricky, it should come already setup for it; but it is not imposible to figure out.
Value:
Overall a very good value for a controller with audio I/O built in that works with both Virtual DJ and Traktor. I don't think there's anything out there that offers the same for the price.
Appearance:
It's a nice looking piece of equipment. I personally prefer black components, but this one looks ok and the blue lights on the buttons are nice too. My biggest problem with this mixer is that it is a pain to find the factory rack ears here in the US, even the Hercules people couldn't help. I had given up and bought the Odyssey battle bridge to use as ears (had to drill the holes in them). Right after I did that, I finally found a place that sells the factory rack ears; which I just ordered. they should make every supplier that carries the mixer to also carry the ears.
