This drum machine is all around awesome! From the variety of drum samples/patterns to which you can play any style of music, then to amazing price this machine is worth the purchase. I highly recommend this drum machine to the pro or inspiring musician.

Nice little drum/ rhythm machine that you can take any place without breaking the bank.
So much better than just a plain click when you can hear the different parts of the drums.
I would have given it a five star rating “IF” there where some readable directions on how to use it and program it, what comes with it is very minimal....
You can find stuff on youtube, if you can understand the different language’s that are not in English...
But all in all it’s a great little machine that I would recommend to anyone needing a drum machine.

Terrible sound quality, I had a Casio drum pad as a kid that sounded better than this, and had more rythm options. I was so dissatisfied I returned the machine.

Besides playing in a full band, I also do a lot of solo charity/nursing home gigs on an acoustic guitar. I was looking for a simple drum machine to give a little added spice to some songs and this little Korg KR Mini fits the bill perfectly. First, what it is not: It is NOT a $500 drum machine. It is NOT the best on the market, and most importantly of all, it is NOT expensive. Now, for what it is: A good little, easily carried, easy to use accompaniment for my acoustic country/oldies gigs. The sound is pretty good, when used through my Bose Compact, or a small keyboard amp, and there are enough patterns to utilize it for what I am doing with it. A common complaint about it by others is there is no way to measure beats per minute with the tempo knob, but if you simply practice a little with it, you will be able to intuitively find the tempo you want. I am pleased with it and it adds a bit to my acoustic shows.
