Dials to shorten or lengthen the start/ end point of the samples is great....plus the 5 choices of sample types with the turn of a dial...it couldn't be easier to use especially for a beginner. keys are great feature too. Only thing I would add maybe is a memory card slot...and some drum pads...a drum module built in...and oh yeah...even though the effects are great and easy to use a kaossilator would be perfect. Add all that in and it would be an all in one perfect piece of gear. But pretty close as is Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Quick start manual had me recording and sampling in minutes. Great for someone just getting in to sampling and recording arranging patterns...etc. I've tried mpc's and other sampling gear...but was very complicated for a beginner like myself. Sound How is the tone? Excellent sounding. Easy to tweak and manipulate sounds to your liking. Value Was this item an overall good value? Absolutely. ...the things you can do with this piece of gear for the price....you can't beat it.

It's really light weight and compact which is nice when you have lots of gear. I also love the software that allows you to store banks of samples! Easy to use also. I like it a lot it allows you to be very creative with your own sounds. It seems sturdy. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I like how you can have sampled loops going at different time signatures looping at the same time for a very complex ever evolving sound. Its also awsome that you can go back to keyboard mode and play the sample with loops going on from sample mode and swich back and fourth. You can do so much and i do like how it forces you to focus on sampling rather than having a bunch of fancy sounds in it. Its like a casio sk1 on acid. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? Allthough it wasn't that easy to use at first it became really easy to use once i figured out how. But who wants their instruments to always be easy to use. It was a great value in my opinon some might not think so if they don't figure out how to use it but once you do its awsome. I think some people might find its approach different than your typical knob based synths but whats wrong with trying something new?
