Wasn't expecting much, got even less
Quality:
Keys are flimsy and wobbly. They feel as though they'll come off pretty easily. Does not seem as though it would last long if used reguarly.
Features:
It would be wonderful if they included a disk with all the software, or at least some simple direct links to find it on their website. Only thing worthwile on this toy is it's size and the fact that if you want to use it as is (without editing anything), it functions by pretty much just plugging it in. As is it was unusable however to me, unless I wanted to just record some synth pads.
Ease of Use:
Could not get the editor to recognize the nanokey. Tried it on 2 computers, got some assistance on the korg forum until their rep gave up and left me hanging. The drivers and downloads that the instructions say need to be installed are incredibly hard to locate on their website. Nothing comes up when you search "nanokey". You have to somehow know to simply search "nano". Incredibly frustrating. Others on their forum had similar problems.
Action:
The sensitivity out of the box was pretty bad. You have to hit the keys fairly hard to get them to respond. Wanted to change the sensitivity with the "kontrol editor". That's when the real fun began.

Mine is going back.
Quality:
This produce is of the lowest possible quality. I wanted to give it a shot because of the portability and the excitement that this line of controllers has generated (I LOVE my NanoKontrol by the way). But the keys are louder than went I make beats using the QWERTY... I usually know within an hour whether or not a piece of gear is right for me. This one was no exception. I knew I would be sending it back.
Features:
The features don't read all that bad on paper: Velocity Sensitive, 2 octave range with Octave Up/Down buttons, CC Mode, Mod and Pitch buttons, usb plug and play, Korg editor software. But, the build quality is just not there. This is the area where more attention should have been paid. I mean I know it is a 50 dollar midi cont. But does that mean it has to look and feel like a toy???
Ease of Use:
The product is very easy to use. It's plug and play.
Sound:
Controller = no sound. Although the keys click VERY loudly, so I guess you could say it makes sounds which is NOT a good thing!
Action:
Come on now, it's 50 a fifty dollar plastic midi keyboard... You already know that the action sucks!
Value:
I think 50 bucks twice as much as what this item is worth. It is the worst out of the three Nano products, WITHOUT A DOUBT. The other two are very good values, but not this...

No, returned it.
