The one touch save button for edited sounds & the control knob feedback that appears on the screen,are superb features!
I am really looking forward to the sound editor software for the LE-series from SoundTower,which should be available soon.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
The factory operating system is a bit unstable,as it locks up when you try to use the sequencer,but this can easily be corrected with the current OS update from Kurzweil's website.
Make sure you uninstall AlZip if you have it,because it does not extract all of the files properly.
All of the screen menus are logically laid out,as well as all of the controls,so it's very user-friendly.
The manual is very helpful as well & it will get you up & running in no time.
Sound
How is its Tone?
The synth sounds,drums & pianos,are the best in the business..every bit as good as any PC software.
Pretty much all of the sample based sounds are excellent,but the electric guitars are average.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Beautiful full sized keys with incredible semi-weighted action that you won't find on any other 61 key hardware workstation!
