I have trashed talked these for years.I happened along a strat plus from 1990 and the first thing I was going to do was replace the pickups. I took it to practice first and I'm d*mn glad I did. These a the best sound ing pickups I have ever used. They are going in my other strats promptly. No kidding. It is interesting to note that these sound better into a cranked amp unlike a lot of pickups that sound great in your room but when up loud don't sound right. Look you gotta try these especially if you play SRV,Hendrix, Blues rock. You will love them. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Just like all the recordings you are emulating. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Action How was the action out of the box?
