Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Surprisingly well made! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Don't know yet. Only had it for 2 wks. General Your general opinion of this product. Great bang for the buck! Word to the wise for novices: The uke is a lot of fun and easy to play, however, don't let tuning it frustrate you! New nylon strings have a huge stretch factor and will take 24-48 hrs to settle in. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels fine. Easy to relative tune once you start the A string with a tuning fork. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone is very rich and mellow. The interior bracing is pretty nice near the sound hole but I'm still going to do a little extra "voicing". Finish How did the stain or paint job look? A little bit raw, but when I restring it, I'll be lightly sanding with super fine grit paper and then rub in a coat of tung oil. BTW: I know what I'm doing. This will make that beautiful koa wood pop! Action How was the action out of the box? Perfect set-up! Neck is straight as an arrow!
Very nice!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Extremely well made. I just wish it was made in USA instead of Indonesia. I would pay much more for this instrument if it were. Reliability How has it stood up over time? So far so good. It takes some time for the new strings to adjust as with any stringed instrument but now it stays in tune great. General Your general opinion of this product. I would highly recommend this Ukulele for reasons stated below. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Great action, no fret buzz. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Nice balanced tone, not too bright and not too dark. Smooth sound but not too mellow. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Beautiful finish. No flaws in workmanship. Action How was the action out of the box? This plays like a much more expensive Ukulele. The action is wonderful.
