Your general opinion of this product.
This amp sound great . Does not make any sense to compare it to marshall or fender or other brand. It is Laney and it sound like Laney. I have read many reviews before I bought this amp , but trust me , You will love this amp in any moment You will play. Does not matter You will play loud or with 1% of power. It sound so good and is hard to describe until You will play.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Quality is very good . Is made very well and solid. Very sharp look .Everything works fine so far .
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I already described sound. My rig is ESP ST-1 with Seymour Duncan "Blackout" in bridge position , Eventide "Time Factor"(connected via loop), TC Electronics "Corona Chorus" and Boss Super Overdrive . All sounds so heavy. Especially I Like Rhythm Channel . With gain set around 5 and 6 and overdrive ( from boss) is killer sound. Clean channel sound perfect. You have to play this beast for a while to understand what You got. Also I switched output tubes for EL34 and for me this is the amp I would die for.
How was the action out of the box?
It took me 1 day to get what I wanted .
How did the stain or paint job look?
Looks so nice. Black toluene cover perfect all box. Black metal mesh covering rear. Very sharp look.
How has it stood up over time?
Hope will stand for many many years.
