The lexicon alpha is built nicely, the metal casing feels sturdy, tough, & reliable.

It has all the features I need for recording my guitar and vocals, I opt'd for this design because all I needed was a guitar input & line in for a mic, and then just throw on my headphones right from the alpha and ready to record perfect quality tracks.
Ease of Use:
This thing was pretty much a breeze to set up. Though installing cubase was a hassle, I tried it & didnt like, so just went back tomy other recording software, it picked up the alpha fine & with this I experience NO latency issuess (even on an older computer), which is great becasue my past line 6 ux1 had bad lag.
Value:
Increible value for what I needed. As long as you know how to use your recording software & lexicon controls, you get perfect sound out of this thing and I see no need to buy anything more expensive for quality, only for more inputs/etc.
Appearance:
I like the colors, the matte finish on the metal is nice & i love the lexicon logo on the top.

I love that this product comes with a copy of Cubase LE, although I wish it hat a Midi in/out.

Thi product has a great sound,powred spearkers and hooked up in the studio.

I set the faders up for a 24 trk view with the trks set to mono.Once that was done I saved it as a template,when I'm ready to record I just pull up the 24trk template and bingo I start to record.When I'm done I save my project (save as)with a project name.It can record up to 48 audio trks if you have the disc space on you laptop.Becaues I know what I need in Diital Recording it didn't take long to learn how to ue it the manual helps

Surprisingly Well Made. Bought two and both worked very well out of the box. Sound quality is top notch.

Cubase software is a little ponderous to use, but the mixer is first class.
