General Your general opinion of this product. Great amp if you need to cover a wide range of sounds. Coupled with the HD500 you can dial in almost any sound. Great tone although you probably have to tweak it a bit to find the sounds you like. Plenty of volume - almost sounds like a 100W amp. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Yes - however it's a heavy amp (75 lbs) and does not come with casters - so I'd recommend investing in some if you gig much. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? N/A Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? N/A Action How was the action out of the box? N/A Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The only negative is the Tolex covering that Line 6 used is not the same as previous amps; it's thinner and rips easier. I'd recommend a cover at a minimum and preferably a hard case if gigging. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Had a power transformer issue but Line 6 took care of it. Great customer service if you have to use them.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Well constructed and solid. Road ready. Get wheels or have a dolly to move (80 lbs). Reliability How has it stood up over time? Owned a month ... so far so good. General Your general opinion of this product. What amazing sounds when coupled with HD500. Use pre amp settings and turn off cab sims for full integration. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels like a full classic amp with all the volume you'll ever need. My dogs hate it. LOL. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? You can literally dial up whatever you wish. Amp will reconfigure tubes accordingly (use pre amp settings tho!). Very flexible with the 2 different Celestion speakers. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Looks Boutique-ish n classy. Action How was the action out of the box? This amp performs ... period!
Covers ALL bases. Hands down, the best.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? So far so good. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Just got it. Seems quite robust though. General Your general opinion of this product. I am truly amazed. I am selling my hand-wired VOX AC15, and (gulp) my Fender Hot Rod Deville 4x10 combos. I did a test run with this amp tonight, and I cannot believe how true to the "inspirations" these 4 amp modes are. Sounds SO great on every mode. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? NA Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Tone galore! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Well built. Heavy as a tank! Action How was the action out of the box? NA

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The cabinet is built like a tank. That's about the only good thing to say. After using the amp for a couple hours I noticed a "humming" sound everytime I played. After checking I found that the entire chassis was loose. Had to tighten the 4 screws on top of the amp about 1/2 a turn each!! Reliability How has it stood up over time? After about 8 months of ownership, I'd get no sound after powering it up, either through the Line 6 Link or straight guitar-to-amp. I'd have to power it off/on several times before getting any sound. General Your general opinion of this product. Buyer beware!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? N/A Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Good tones for as long as it lasted. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? N/a Action How was the action out of the box? N/a
