I upgraded my guitar sound from a Pod HD500x to The Helix LT. I couldn't be happier! The tone is so much fuller and the available DSP is twice my old unit. You can use setlist mode or snapshot mode and literally have different patches set up for every section of every song at the click of a foot switch! AMS got it here quickly and packaged it well! I highly recommend it!

Line 6 keeps updating the software on this unit, and every time it’s like getting a fresh piece of gear.
The guitar and bass tones you can get are now at a point where I no longer care to use amps anymore.
I urge you to try one out, you will not be mad about it.
In case you didn’t know, the Helix is a very powerful recording interface with multiple channels. Works great for streaming and especially recording, giving you options to record Di along side you’re “amped” signal so you can remap in post.

I am a guitarist that is ALL OVER the place with my attention span. If I bought all the pedals to make all the music I wanted to play, I’d spend way more than the cost of the Helix. Just pull the trigger and get this over the POD GO. It’s worth it in the overall sound and setting structures.
It’s also worth mentioning that Line 6 does great updates and continues to add more pedals and amps to the line up. Seems like if something is trending, it ends up on the board.

I have been researching and looking for a multi effects unit I would not only give me a great performance, but would also be a unit you do not need a doctorate in rocket science to operate. I had watched multiple videos on Helix as well as a few other units and came to the conclusion that helix was the best bang for your buck. I had multiple conversations with customer service at AMS and they were always super helpful to answer my questions and helped me ultimately decide which unit to buy. This thing is amazing! It is more than I could’ve ever hoped for. I was able to set up my own preset from the beginning. It is very user-friendly and professional quality sound. I would highly recommend the Helix or Helix LT! Banging units for sure! ????

Very easy to use interface. Powerful! Endless amounts of tones and amps. Do a little you tube research if you don't want to read the manual to get used to it. After playing a show at the local House of Blues, and realizing the toll that load in put on my back, I decided it was time to make the switch to modeling. I was very surprised at the ease of use here. Within a few minutes of firing the Helix up for the first time (minus some time playing with the factory presets) I had my first gig-able patch. Super easy to figure out. Lots of ability to tweak. The HX Edit software is amazing and free! Knowing I can tweak anything I want and not have to constantly bend over while trying not to smack my guitar against the desk is awesome. Love this!

I held off for a long time getting one of these. As a tube amp guy for over 40 years I love tube tone. But the other guitarist in my band had one and I figured I'd try one out.
I am so glad I did. I have virtually the same tone out of this unit as I do with my AC30,JCM800 and my Deluxe Reverb.
It does have a learning curve but it only takes a few hours and you've got it down pat. I recommend programming your own tones first before you purchase any pre made presets. This will let you get to know the Helix properly. Then if you download some presets you can easily tweak them to your liking.
I HIGHLY recommend getting this if you are contemplating it.

I had been using the POD GO for a while and thought the Helix lt would be a decent upgrade. The POD is great but this is so much better than I expected. The sounds are deeper, more complex. There’s more flexibility with extra blocks and more foot switches. It’s also easier to make changes on the fly with more panel controls.

This unit sounds great, is portable, and consistent. You plug it straight into the board and it takes no time to sound check and play. The only con is that you will need to spend some time figuring out how to program patches and tweak signal chains but once you get the hang of it you’re all good.
Pro tip for someone in a local bar band: no one you are there to entertain will be disappointed that you’re not playing through a tube amp. They really don’t care. Save load in/out time and grab this thing. If you’re reading this far into my review, just buy it already.

I gig weekly, and I have to play styles ranging from ambient to twangy to well distorted. Over the years I've used pedalboards and multi-fx units, sometimes with amps, sometimes with DIs.
This box does all that, and gives me studio quality sound. I use Helix Native to design sounds for multi-tracking, then move those sounds over to the Helix LT for use live. The ease of editing on the unit itself means I can sketch out ideas quickly, or adapt patches I've already designed. Where else (but through modeling like this Helix engine) can you push mild compression into a Maxon SD-9 clone (Hedgehog D9 on Helix/HX), then split signal to parallel JC45 and Plexi amps before putting both signals back through a single 4x12 cab loaded with greenbacks? It sounds fantastic.
I have been using an HX stomp live on stage, but I vastly prefer the features and full Helix dual engine in this Helix LT to the stomp. Since I don't do lots of sends or extra controller pedals, this unit has enough I/O at a more attractive price than the full fat Helix.
If I had the extra cash, I'd probably still have gotten this unit because it does everything I need now, with enough power/possibility for things I haven't thought of, and gets me compliments on my recorded sound.

I love multi-effects. I’ve been a fan since the Zoom 505, and had multiple Digitech, Valenton, Soundcake, and Line 6 products over the years always looking for that pedal that would give me everything I needed. The POD Go has been my buddy for over a year and while it is a fantastic pedal, it’s limited in processing power if you want to do more wet effects or even have the option for multiple amps. I’ve wanted a Helix since they came out but I couldn’t afford to shell out for one and so when the opportunity came about to catch this on sale around Christmas, I had to pick it up. This thing does it all. I can run dual stereo amps, Acoustic with pads, run multiple instruments in and out and use preset patches to change effects for all the instruments in my band at once. It’s sturdy, easy to set up and use but as complicated as you want to make it as well. I can side load impulse responses to dial in a better live sound and I can choose from a crazy amount of amps, distortions, amazing reverbs and delays, as well as modulations. It’s absolutely amazing. The POD Go was a game changer for me and is in many ways a “baby helix” but what a difference stepping up to the real thing makes. Absolutely amazing.

I own several Fender and Dr Z amps. I play in a Modern Country band as well as filling in for other types of rock bands in town consistently. I have stopped bringing my amps to these gigs as my Helix LT has made things more consistent, easier to transport and set up! Was really looking forward to receiving this and it was a huge disappointment. The moment I tried to upgrade the firmware, it got a fatal boot error and I couldn’t get it to revert back to the original settings. Line 6 customer service was horrible and no help at all. Thankfully, AMS was awesome and immediately processed my return without giving me the 3rd degree or jumping through hoops.
This is the absolute last time I try anything from Line 6.

This pedal does everything I expected it to do. Especially valuable to me is that it has models for both guitar and bass. I plugged in my Rickenbacker 4001, set it on the SVT model and thought I was back in 1974 playing my original Rick through my 8-10 SVT rig. Amazing sound. When I plugged my Pro II Tele and set it on Plexi I was similarly impressed. What a rig! Since then I've used my Spector 5, my Hofner and my Fender Jazz all with great results. I've even gotten past those original models. What has been most positive for me is I can hook it up to headphones and not drive my wife nuts anymore. Thanks for the great deal and the quick service.

I have been a touring musician for around 7 years and I always found my self out on the street bringing a lot of gear in order to have the better sound ever.
The helix changed my live, this pedal is so practical and friendly user technology that now days I can bring my old style analog rig within one pease of gear.
In other words, the helix pedal board uses such a wide amount of amps simulations and customs IR where obtaining the real amp life sound is no a problem. More over you have such nice response when you play live with it that it feels like playing with an amp mic up.
The helix also includes a wide variety of effects such as compressors, drives, overdrives, delay, reverbs, and digital synths. With this options you can set up almost every sound. Without saying that there are endless possibilities to rout the audio signal like if you were at a recording studio with a patch bay infringe of you.

I have been playing in weekend bands for almost thirty years and this is the best my tone has consistently been. No more fighting room acoustics and getting your amp cranked loud enough or standing too close to it in a small room. My back loves the weight. I was awestruck when the original Helix arrived and loved all that it was able to do, but it was just a bit too much for my needs. Then, they came out with the LT and it offered everything I needed. I love the fact that they continue to update for free and offer new amp and pedal options. That really sets Line 6 apart from the other modelers. I use this with 2 Tech 21 deuce deluxe powered cabs so I can go from bass to guitar without a problem. To make it even better, I have Helix Native so I can create a tone for recording and then transfer that directly to my Helix LT. I can use it for Bass, Guitar, Vocals, acoustic, keys, the limits are endless!

Full disclosure. I am a beta tester for Line6/Yamaha Guitar Group.
That said I haven't always been, and I paid for this myself.
There's not really anything this thing can't do. Especially now that they added polyphonic pitch shifting. This unit is built like a tank and has fantastic amps, cabs and effects.
The user interface is a breeze. If you can twist knobs on a amplifier or a pedal then you can use this unit. You do not need a degree in electronic engineering like some of the other units that are out there that are supposedly the best.
On top of it all,Line 6 customer service is the best in the business.

I had a Helix LT a few years ago and I loved it. I was only using it for recording so I ended up selling it and getting some amp sims instead. Now that I've been playing out again (well until the scourge) I decided I liked the convenience and light weight of an all in one board so I went with what I already knew was an excellent product. I downloaded the 3.01 firmware and wow this thing has come a long way in 3 years! It was amazing before, now it's extra amazing lol. Like every modeler without a speaker, it's going to take some time to dial in and EQ for your choice of speaker but once you do be prepared to have all the amp and heavy duty effects goodness your ears can handle in something that fits in a backpack. I highly recommend this if you are looking to get into modeling. The Helix ecosystem is continuously growing and all patches (blocks permitting) are interchangeable between HX stomp, XL, LT, Helix, and Native. Unlike some companies (hey Boss!), Line 6 regularly updates with not only fixes but new amps cabs and effects in just about every update. They consistently listen to their customer base and most changes and additions are a result of that communication path. Great product, great company. I highly recommend anything from the Helix or new POD line. You won't be disappointed.

After having lugged tens of thousands of dollars of equipment around the country for over a decade, Line 6 has enabled me to take my full rig anywhere in the world on an airplane without sacrificing tone! It simply does it all VERY well. This is a great tool to add to or replace your entire rig! The effect and amplifier sounds are bang on. The dsp and flow paths are such that I can dial in some of my most complex signal chains in one floor unit. I love the Helix for recording, as you can change everything for different parts in the click of a button. Well done Line 6!

I bought the Helix LT with the Line 6 112 cabinet and it's the best money I've ever spent on an amp! The first thing I checked out were the Marshalls as I had a JTM 60 all tube amp, BUT once I heard the Marshalls in the Helix I LITERALLY SOLD MY REAL MARSHALL! The effects are great too! There's so much flexibility with this thing it's a complete game changer! NOW, if only we could just get over this COVID thing so I could go out and start gigging again! Thanks to American Musical Supply and the 0% interest payment plans. You've helped make my musical dreams a reality and it would've never happened without you guys!

Originally bought this to run in stereo with my Mesa Mark V, and after getting a few models dialed in where I need them, the ol tube amp is gathering dust. I’ve only played real apms. Solid state, tube, etc whatever. The warmth, the tactile nature of turning the knobs, and the feeling of a half stack blaring behind me on stage is something of nostalgic value to me now. It feels like home.
The heavy cabinets, bulky head units and heavy pedal boards were my choosing for a live sound. It’s real equipment!! What could sound better? I was a 28 year old man stuck in my ways. (Get off my lawn!) I preferred real pedals, and dancing on stage to get the exact tones and effects I wanted. After my back hurt from pulling in all my gear, I had to spend 40 minutes or more stepping all over the stage because I decided to play metal that requires a bunch of things I like to use.
I refused to go digital. Until I was peer pressured (there’s not such thing as peer pressure, it’s just your turn), and it was my turn. I made the leap and went for the most talked about piece of equipment on the market.
I no longer see the light of day. I wish I could tell you what day it is now, or if the year 2020 was ages ago. I don’t know, as I can not escape the never ending amp models, cabinets and stellar 3rd party Impulse Responses that you’re allowed to download and play with. The ease of working on a perfect tone on your computer, sitting at a desk takes the chore out of constantly playing with the unit itself. The fact that anyone can share any preset they’ve made with others in the line6 family is outrageous, but I assure you, real. The ability to walk in with your first out guitar, backup guitar, and a box/bag with this wonderful piece of equipment in it and be ready to play sounds impossible, but I promise you it is.
Whatever black magic has been used to create the most realistic amp modeling I’ve ever experienced is probably something left over from Salem witch trials, but nevertheless I’m happy it exists. I still have my old analog rig, and I’ll never get rid of it. But that doesn’t mean I can’t admit it...

I purchase this and really didn't have the high expectations I should have for the price. I have another similar rig I have been using in church and playing concerts for about ten years. While that pedal works, I still found myself purchasing other pedals to get that just right tone, or effect I was looking for. If you want a discount on effects pedals, go to Ebay as I will be selling quite a few. With the Line 6 Helix I no longer need the majority of them. The only things I'll keep are the keyboard pedals. I had a Line 6 Amp and a Variax, looks like I'll be getting that Variax back!!!

I just purchase the Helix LT and I was surprised how user friendly it is. I thought I would have to wait for the guy to launch the Spacex rocket from Florida, so he could help me with the Helix. The unit comes with some pretty good presets, but after going through them all I can tell I will need to tweak some of the presets.
I purchase the HD 500 a few years ago and the Helix LT is much more enjoyable to play on.

I've been messing with this unit for about a month, and it's fulfilled every need I could imagine. Live sound (straight into PA), recording, you name it, it does it! I found that its flexibility to import external impulse responses is very seamless and allows greater flexibility in emulating actual studio-like tones! it takes a minute to get used to the controls, but is totally worth the money.

Whatever algorithms Line 6 uses has certainly improved,but I still can't justify the purchase. It will satisfy most people. But truly diserncible ears will most likely agree that Line 6 still is a shallow shell when compared to let's say the Kemper or Axe fx. The a/b sounds simply prove this in my opinion.

Had the large Helix. It was too large and I didn’t need all the I/O features. Then I had the Helix Stomp. Way too small and cramped fro my needs.
Finally purchased the Helix LT and it was a perfect fit. I love it! Easy to transport. Built like a tank. Amazing support by Line6.

I've had my Helix for almost a month at this point now and I couldn't be happier. I have a very robust analog board with a boss es-8, all sorts of fun analog pedals, I'm doing midi programming on scene changes and so on. It's really a pain to manage it all, transport it, build up and tear down, etc. the Helix simplifies all of this. It simplifies the physical connections and I haven't had to sacrifice anything in terms of functionality with Helix and I'm really happy about that. I'm liking it so much that I'm considering breaking down my analog board and selling it off.
In terms of sound quality. I've never really had a good experience with modelers. I can never really find exactly what I'm looking for, when I do it always just seems like it's lacking. I had given the head rush a try and I returned it after about a week. I really didn't get what I needed out of it. So I'm usually skeptical, but the Helix has squashed all of that for me. The tones you get out of the base load, without IRs, are really great. They're incredibly responsive, they are properly controlled through the parameters, and they all sound great simply going through my HK Grandmeister in 4 cable method. Adding the IRS really puts it over the top. Ownhammer, for the win.
Helix is very simple to use. Even what might be considered a more advanced use case is very straight forward. The workflow is very streamlined and the administration is very intuitive.
It's been really inspirational. I've been able to get new song ideas just by scrolling through factory presets which are great, and noodling. The song writing process has changed for me in a great way.
The only thing I'd recommend, if you need more I/O than the next person, is paying the extra scratch for the Helix instead of the LT. I feel like I could have really used the additional connections in the F5 send/returns for a number of advanced routing techniques.
All in all, great buy. I'd absolutely recommend it. I've never personally own an axe fx, or a Kemper, so take it for what it is but I'm not sure I'd expect a large difference in quality between them all.

I got the helix to compare to my kemper profiler stage and as a back up rig if something happens to the kemper. In my opinion the Kempers sound and tone are better. But the helix effects are better and the interface on the helix is way more user friendly. The only real problem I've had with the helix is the foot switch buttons are a little to close and I often hit two at once, but that's me being super picky. Bottom line it's a great alternative to a bunch of pedals and it's a great alternative to a guitar amp.

The Helix LT is the best multi effects for the price. Everyone in my band has been complimenting my tone. It doesn't have as many Ins and outs as the Helix Floor but it is just as good for a lower price. I have been obsessed with pedals for years, and with the exception of a couple unique pedals, this has gone above and beyond in terms of sound and reliability. I would recommend to anyone considering a switch.

I am an average guitarist. I feel confident enough to play live at my church. While confidence will only get you so far, The Helix LT will take your playing to the next level. I now am no longer worrying about how I sound or fiddling around to get tones right. It has a super easy to use interface, that is very clear and detailed and also provides a tactile feel (knobs and buttons) as you scroll thru the menu of presets or as you get the creative juices flowing and creat your own patch. In addition to the presets and having the ability to create your own, there is a super community out there where you can download patches and or share yours with others. The amount of collaboration that is available is phenomenal. Line 6 support is also fantastic for those who may have questions and or need assistance. The Helix LT experience is second to none. I need nothing but my axe and my Helix. Cases full of stomp boxes and pedalboards are no longer needed! Line 6 got it right when they created this product!

I’ve had the pedal for a couple days now and I would recommend it to anyone looking at it. It is extremely user friendly and sounds great! For the amount of pedals at your disposal, not including the amp models and cabinets, it’s easily worth the price. The switches, knobs and expression pedal feel of the highest quality. AMS shipped it quick, I even got it before their advertised date. Just a great experience all together. I will continue buying all my gear here!

Before I bought my Helix LT I was considering spending the same amount of money on individual pedals. I quickly found out that I would it would be pretty much impossible to get the same amount of quality sounds from a $1000 compared to the Helix LT. I absolutely love my Helix. It does everything I need it to do and so much more. The tones that I can create sound so good on any guitar that I play it with. You'll get 100x the value from using a Helix compared to a standard pedalboard and amp. It's easy to use and has a great user base that shares lots of tips and tricks.

I’ve been playing over 20 years and I have always been a tube amp guy, and I always will be, but for someone like me who is always buying and selling amps, this is perfect because any amp you can dream of is built in or you can download patches of them. The patches certainly sound very similar to the amps they’re attempting to recreate (especially with aftermarket IRs), but as we all know, only a tube amp is a tube amp, so it’s not exact. But the sounds and fx you get out of it are amazing. I use it with the headrush FRFR112 which is also incredible. Loud enough to play live or quiet enough to play in your apartment, like I do. If your on the fence, pull the trigger. I’m pretty hard nosed when it comes to this stuff, and I am really enjoying my time with the helix.

This pedal is so dynamic. By far the easiest pedal to build and tweak your own sounds and dial in tones for live situations quite easily. As someone who upgraded to this from the HD500X, I honestly could not find anything wrong with this. The difference between clarity, articulation, and sheer power is nothing to laugh at. I primarily use this for church on Sundays for worship and sometimes Wednesdays for the youth, but also some side gigs in and out of town. This has been the smoothest switch ever to a new piece of gear. The interface is easy to read and figure out what does which and where and why. Love the large color screen, and the amount of I/O it provides. This also works very well with tube amps to either drive a clean sound, or push the dirt channel of the amp further and it doesn't feel cheap when it does it. Overall, the amount of options it provides for sounds and tones as well as the user friendly features are something that is well worth the money for something so clean and sleek.

This thing can almost do anything. It's been a good while since I was able to upgrade my guitar processor I was looking into the Axe fx however I've always played on the Pod HD
So I said why not I'll get the Helix! It's probably the best thing I've bought and played on in years! I can create all kinds of sick tones. Use it as an interface re-amp with it and play live as well. I am extremely happy with it and recommend it for anybody who wants to try it or looking some that can do a bit of everything when it comes to recording or playing gigs. It's definitely worth it!

I can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting to get my hands on the Helix! From worship to rock, it has everything that a modern to classic player would ever need. The amp models are amazing accurate and precise. My main focus whenever it comes to tone is my reverbs and delays. This pedal does an excellent job of giving a huge variety of reverbs such as halls, springs and so forth. It does very well with ambient and swell delays as well. I bought this for my live worship rig and I cannot be happier. Last, but certainly not least is the inputs and outputs on the helix. It’s such a relief off of myself that I don’t have to carry around an amp anymore. Just plug in through the system and your all set. Whether 1/4” or XLR, Helix has you covered either way. Loving my Helix more and more each day!

I purchased this product after using a Line 6 Firehawk FX floor unit for about 3 years. Getting used to the workflow is easy and the variety of available amps and effects sound great. The upgrade from the Firehawk, was it worth the 146% MSRP difference in price? No, not for a bedroom user. It is absolutely worth it for anybody playing in a live situation. The Snapshot feature is worth the upgrade alone. Add in the multiple options for routing/input/parallel paths and you have an all-in-one unit.
Recording with the supplied drivers from Line 6 is a breeze in Reaper. The ASIO Helix drivers offer practically zero latency and the sound over USB is phenomenal.

I’ve done live performances on stage with it direct driven through the PA and through tubed rigs and both sound amazing.

I have played many acoustic gigs plugged into the Line 6 M13 and straight to the board. The idea of going straight to the board with acoustic and electric plus having studio and live tones in one unit are what drew me to an amp modeler. Since purchasing the Helix LT I have been very happy with the quality of effects. The Line 6 delays and modulation have been great as expected but I am especially surprised how much I am enjoying the "Teemah" and some of the other overdrives and compressors. Also, as with the M13, no mounds of connectors, power supplies, and cables to go bad.
All the rest is true as well: The simple layout, ease of use, the software, the screen layouts, color coded switches, patch mode, snapshots, loops, i/o. It all makes sense, works, and makes life easier during a gig or session.
I currently use 4 cable method with my Mesa Rectoverb as I search for the best FRFR for my situation.

The Line6 Helix LT is a powerful piece of gear. I used to have the typical tube amp and pedalboard setup, but found myself having issues recording guitars late at night when my kids were sleeping. Solution? Helix. Perfect for getting high quality tone at low (or no) volume, and SO many amps/effects to choose from. And, unlike previous modelers, the amp and cab sims actually sounds legit - especially if you throw some IRs in there. I was so pleased with the LT in a studio setting that I tried it live at church. It performed perfectly. So much so, in fact, I ended up selling my amp and entire pedalboard. Now I have access to dozens of different amps, endless effects, and I can play direct and record with ease. I'm 100% on the Helix hype train!

I'm still in the newbie phase with it but so far, it has been nothing short of amazing. Combined with a Powercab, I no longer have to lug a heavy tube amps and a pedalboard filled with a dozen pedals and a power supply. Everything is in one package! I got it with the Helix Backpack bag, which is roomy enough for all of my cables, cords, picks, strings, etc. Very happy! Great tutorials on the Line 6 website. Awesome job Line 6!!

I plan on running it in 4 cable method with my Mesa Mark V eventually, but it sounds great through my monitor. The Helix is great for direct to board gigs. Only thing I don't like is the distortions/ overdrives. No problem though, I just run a couple into it. I tried some ownhammer IRs. They are an improvement, but not a lot better than the cabs that are built in. Great modeler overall.

I bought the Helix LT to simplify my life a bit. I wanted to remove the fiddliness of a pedal board and have a cleaner method of recording my guitar. The Helix LT has performed in both respects flawlessly. On the effects side everything sounds good enough that pedals accrued over 20 years no longer get used. The Helix isn't a perfect recreation but it is close enough in most cases that you can barely tell the different or a complete tone snob can only tell the difference. The wahs seem like the week link to me, but they are still ok. As a recording interface the Helix LT sounds great with the amp models. It's a very powerful tool with advanced signal routing capability and the ability to control your amp channels and other gear through MIDI. Now I struggle with the urge to buy new pedals or amps because frankly, they don't sound much better than what is already in this box.

I was not sure if I would really like this unit because it was the less expensive unit, but after talking to the line 6 staff and to American music I came to realize that this basically had almost everything the higher priced one had. It even had a nice big big screen to see all of my presets on. This is great for the rock stars who need glasses but refuse to use them. You can create some awesome amp models and model so many of your favorite guitarists and or musicians. Besides all of that you can even make payments on this unit. I buy so many things through American music because of this feature. Some people do not have money readily available all the time and this feature helps those who can not put cash out in one shot.

I purchased this product to replace my analog rig. Right out of the box it was amazing and the more I got to use it the better the product became and I was never a big fan of line 6 but the helix LT is phenomenal. I no longer need to carry around a heavy amp or a mess load of cables and I get a great tone through the front of house whenever I play live not to mention it’s great for studio recording as well just an all around amazing product.

Looks amazing, is a tank, sounds fab, and accurately models. it has a stereo path also and is wonderful ! amazing delays and reverbs, chorus, phase etc.... great overdrives and modeling , pedals , etc..... for me it is still not the KEMPER, but it is the second best thing to it!!! my opinion. the packaging and aesthetic is phenomenal ! its like the toy you always wanted for holidays! can't wait to open and try out is the feeling you get when you see the box. much like the excitement when i got LASER TAG in the 80's or the GI joe HOVERCRAFT !!!! LOL

The helix is very easy to navigate through. It’s on spot with the amp modeling. There is a massive amount of effects that resembles all your favorite pedals like one of my favorites the Ibanez tube screamer. There is just an endless amount of possibilities you can create from this thing and the updates are pretty consistent with new effects and amp models. I would definitely recommend buying this effects pedal to everyone.

Switch to using this VS an AX8 due to convenience. I needed more effect routing due to using the 4-cable method, while still needing the access to amp modeling. Made the right choice using this. While it doesn't have the sheer editing depth or amp models of the AX8, or the extra I/O and features of the full Helix, I find the amp models are nearly on par with the Fractal (the on-board cabs do suffer a bit, but yay IR loading!) and has all the amp models I really need, and it still has the same UI and editing of the Helix, so I'm definitely satisfied with my LT.
Great amp modeling, great list of effects (both are growing via free updates, thank god!), and for once a great UI that doesn't require being tethered to a PC. Very, very satisfied with my purchase!

Bought this for use in worship music and love it! There’s a ton of support and great patches available which makes its great for someone like me who doesn’t really enjoy tweaking knobs and settings all day to get the sound I want. That’s certainly an option if you’re into that as there’s a ton of sounds built in and almost endless possibilities to tweak. Solid product and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an awesome modeler with tons of possibilities:

Line 6 has made an awesome product here. The first day I used the processor just the presets and it was clean very clear. Now I run the Helix through a 44 Magnum power amp. This way you can control the output of Helix so the module your using won’t distort. If you already have a ton of equipment and you’re happy with the way it works save your money and keep what you got. If you’re building your collection buy this thing first! It gives tons of tones and tons of effects. Just set it to match what you want.

I too was a Firehawk user, and I can definitely hear the improvement of the modelling in this unit. Owning it for a couple of days, I was able to create patches that I used direct to PA for back to back gigs,and all was well. Looking forward to diving deeper into this gear.

I got the behind the scenes tour of this new pedal at the NAMM show. It had all the great tone from its big brother but at a more musician friendly price tag. The few control options they pulled off will have little to no effect on how you use this. If you don't need 4 FX loops and 4 Expression pedals, this will satisfy your Helix needs.
