Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? good. i would say so far i've had it 1 year and it has served me just fine Reliability How has it stood up over time? good Overall Your general opinion of this product. good Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? only drawback which i find, in all fender style guitars that don't have string trees, there was a perceptible sitarish buzz on the treble E string which was corrected by installing a string tree. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? overall pretty good Finish How did the stain or paint job look? good Action How was the action out of the box? good. did not have to adjust it

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Solid, no cheesey part, great finish. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Just got it. I have a 300, and a 700 -- and they both have been rock solid (although the neck on the 300 is not wide enough for real players). Overall Your general opinion of this product. Bought the Placid Blue, Alder body -- you could mic the unplugged guitar and the sound is still startlingly good! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Neck is excellent. The Model Selector Knob is activated by holding it down for 2.5 seconds, or until it starts blinking... a little confusing, because sometimes it doesn't blink. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Rich, full, closer to the actual guitars that is is modeling. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Beautiful. Like a 1950's T-Bird... Action How was the action out of the box? Great. Not too high, not too low. D'Addairo's (sp?), which I wasn't sure I would like, but I do.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Neck is sweet. Headstock and tuners are top notch. Love the candy-apple red finish. Overall all the bells and whistles seem to be top notch. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Too early to tell. Only had the guitar for about 2 weeks now. I assume it will hold up fine. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Initial thoughts on unpacking this guitar - "man this is one nice instrument". The candy-apple red finish was sweet and the neck - just felt perfect in my hands. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Plays nice and smooth. Not the fatest neck I've ever played - but still smooth. Neck just feels "nice" in my hands. Controls are easy to access - although I've found it hard to turn on/off the dsp accurately everytime - depressing the knob is sometimes hit or miss. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I would characterize the overall tone as a little bit dark on this guitar. Definitely not bright and snappy. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Again - I love the candy-apple red finish. Looks great. No scratches or dents that I can see. The white pickguard makes a nice contrast. Action How was the action out of the box? The string action out of the box was higher than I like. I took the provided allen wrench and lowered the action a bit. Plays pretty nice now.
