General Your general opinion of this product. Very good guitar, not quite excellent as far as action. Modeling is excellent, you can get an awesome amount of different tones and sounds from this guitar. The acoustics sound particularly good except for one of the 12 strings that just sounded like chorus and delay to me. Was not impressed with the 6 string tunings. When you play a single string in a different tuning, it sounds weirdly doubled like you are playing through an octaver with some of the original signal present. Not an issue with the single string tunings like drop d. Would not be a significant issue if you are only playing rhythm, especially distorted. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Yes it was solid with no fit/finish or electronics issues. Also played the Les Paul version with the glued in neck, that was well done. On that one the volume control would need replacement if I bought it, was not making a clean electrical connection and was loose. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It models nearly any tone and pickup. You won't be disappointed in that at all. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Very nice, nothing spectacular but no flaws at all.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Solid, no cheesey part, great finish. General Your general opinion of this product. Bought the Placid Blue, Alder body -- you could mic the unplugged guitar and the sound is still startlingly good! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Rich, full, closer to the actual guitars that is is modeling. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Beautiful. Like a 1950's T-Bird...

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Neck is sweet. Headstock and tuners are top notch. Love the candy-apple red finish. Overall all the bells and whistles seem to be top notch. General Your general opinion of this product. Initial thoughts on unpacking this guitar - "man this is one nice instrument". The candy-apple red finish was sweet and the neck - just felt perfect in my hands. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I would characterize the overall tone as a little bit dark on this guitar. Definitely not bright and snappy. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Again - I love the candy-apple red finish. Looks great. No scratches or dents that I can see. The white pickguard makes a nice contrast.
