This is a great little product it's everything I expected. This is great for practicing/recording plenty of models/effects to choose from, I've had this for a while now and I mainly use it when practicing late at night when I don't want to wake anyone up, and I only thing that I kind of dislike about it is that it goes through batteries pretty quickly.

I've watched guitar players for over 30 years lug 4x4 cabinets and Heads in and out of clubs that would've killed for this little guy lol!!! A good monitor mix and that's it your ready to rock! Tons of presets and very easy to navigate. Unless your a purest or lost your mind ha ha a must for any bar band guitarists!

It took me a while to get used to it, but I'm glad I got it. With this and my Marshall tube amp, I'm getting some great classic rock sounds. I would recommend getting the AC adaptor, because it runs through batteries fast.

Great product. Presets are cool. But I found that building your own parameters works best. You just gotta find the right amp/cabinet combo. Then start simple....compression, reverb, maybe delay...then of course you have the drive knob to punch it up. Very happy with this product.

It’s a fun thing to have when you just want to play with some head phones on. It’s really nice for learning new songs too as you can plug music into it and play along. Took a star off because line 6 can afford to put a 9 volt dc charger in the box...

I was looking for a portable unit that could come with me in my guitar case on the road. I use this thing for songwriting and spur of the moment inspiration. I have owned many Line 6 products over the years and this one has the same awesome quality that you would expect from the company. It also fits comfortably in the storage compartment of any of my guitar cases as well. If you need something that you can program great sounds into and take it with you, this is your unit!

I love this thing for late night practicing especially. A lot of the stuff is overkill for me to be honest but this thing is fun and helps break up the monotony of a stale practice routine. It seems a little delicate but considering what I am doing with it's sturdy enough. At this price point especially...unless its a different POD model I believe this will be hard to beat.

I bought one of these years ago when I traveled for work. Easier to carry around than an amp or pedals. Fairly easy to use. Actually easier than the the huge POD HD board I purchased later. I don't really use it much anymore as I kind lost interest in effects. I'd recommend it if your looking for a headphone-amp with more tonal options than something like a Vox Amplug. You will probably have to go bigger for a live multi-effects device though if you are going to want to change presets on the fly. Also, I bought mine in 2007 and it is still in great shape.

This little machine is perfect in so many ways. Its small. Can use wall wart or batteries. I use it for traveling. It has great sound and a lot of options to suit the sound your looking for. There is a lot in this little tool. A must have.

It seems pretty well built. not quite as good as the other more expensive POD's, but good nonetheless.

Since I moved into an apartment, I found myself searching for another quieter way to record guitar. While I was looking for an inexpensive way to record guitar, I stumbled apon this device. I figured "why not, lets try it." Once I plugged it in, i knew i made the right decision. It's not the best on the block, but for someone who wants versatility with ease of use, this is the way to go!
Controls are simple. It look me very little time to figure out what was what and to get a sweet tone.

Right out of the box, it sounded phenominal. It has pretty good presets, but when I tweaked them, they came to life.

Great Price, Great tone, Great portability. It has everything you'd need in the palm of your hand. The only problem is that the battery life is rather short. But dont worry, you always have the option of using an adapter, so you'd rarely have the need to use batteries except in cases where you have no access to power outlets
It's a good compromise between playability and portability. The knobs are a bit small but nothing you cant handle.
Excellent! and it still looks good.

I first played with my new Pocket POD the other day... it reminds me of the PODxt/xtLive with it's interface. A lot of the stock tones are similar to my older AX2. A well made tool.
Fairly easy to use... however, you have to think about it a bit with the multifunction controls. I would have preferred being able to connect via VDI and/or use a floorboard, but for my use, they wouldn't be required.
The tones were as impressive as my AX2 or POD 2.0.

Well, it's made pretty well given the fact that it IS high impact plastic. I honestly wouldn't mind paying a wee bit more for metal. Then again, it's made to go into a gig bag, or case, so they were probably taking weight into consideration. Tone wise, it pretty much blows on everything else out there. I tried the new Waves iGTR, and was very disatisfied. I also have a Line6 POD X3 Live and a Line6 Variax 300, so I'm very much sold on Line6's products.
I've only had it for a week, so I can't really say how reliable it is "over time."

QUALITY:
Apart from a metal clip on the back, this seems to be all plastic on the outside. Still, it is light, attractively finished, and the controls are precise and tight. Excellent workmanship. Unless you're intending to pass around like a Nerf football, this should last for many years. It functions equally well on 4 AAA batteries or a 9 volt adapter. Manual claims 4 hours of battery use, but I think it's a bit less.
FEATURES:
The best festure of this product is that many of the killer tones from songs and artists are lifted from the Line 6 Spider III amps and put into a compact package that can be used on its own or connected to the amp of your choice. Smoke on the Water, Back in Black, and many more are loud, proud, and dead on. The wide selection of amp models is also quite impressive.
