Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Dependable and well made! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only have had it for a week. Make sure to use quality cables or you may be mis-led as to the capabilities of the X3. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I am Impressed. This is the third Pod I have owned. The first Pod Pro I purchased is still in my personal studio. The second one I was not that impressed. I think it was mainly due to not using it through an effects loop. It was most likey due to loading down the output of the processor. I own several Brit amps and tried it with a couple of them. So I decided to try the Pod X3 Pro through a Soldano designed amp. The sonic quality came to life. Totally Impressed Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Yep... the sounds are top quality and the device itself seems to be put together good. The only thing it has a vent on the top of the device, it would hate to drop a pick down in there. Of course, now it is in my rack. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only had it three-weeks but did own my first pod pro almost 10-yrs and got a good resale out of it. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Well as my rating title says, it exceeded my expectations. I owned the original Pod Pro for about 10 yrs. I loved it and never saw a reason to upgrade to the XT, just not enough difference. But the X3 has a lot more to offer, at least on paper. I did A LOT of research on this baby before moving ahead. I even looked at other new competitive devices but at the end, this was cleary the better unit for my needs. I have been playing guitar for about 35 years. I have owned many effect rigs from pedal boards to some of the first multi effect units. I have had the X3 about 3-weeks now and I am blown away big time. It was worth every penny and a big thanks to AMS for getting me a great price. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? not really relevant Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Can't say enough here. I have a Les Paul, Strat, Taylor Acoustic, Ibanez Bass and some other guitars. I have found great sounds for all of these. I am really pleased with this thing. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I kind of like this look better than the solid red and really like the big display for editing - nice improvement there! It looks cool in my rack. Action How was the action out of the box? All knobs and output jacks seem to be fine.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Hey it's a line 6 product, go fiqure. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I leave mine in a SKB case which will never move so I'm sure it will last. Only had it a month. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This product is amazing, the sound quality is outstanding and this item is user freindly. If you own a project studio this is the item to use as a front end for your Guitar and Bass. The Pod 6 has warm, crunchy, lows, mids and everything you can imagine to dial in the tones your looking for. And with a couple of tweaks you can make them sound like the real thing. I run a line out from the S/PDIF connection to a Tascam US-1641 and crisp is an understatement. The clarity is OUTSTANDING. I'm a producer for Hip/Hop, Jazz, R&B and this item has put me where I need to be.(Flexable). I play all my Bass lines and Guitar licks live and it just blows me away. I also use an MPC 2500. I do the same thing run that S/PDIF put the sound I want on it, chop it up and Bang. Dump that into Cubase 5 for further editing and here we go. I love this thing. (www.creationstationsounds.com) Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It's much lighter than it looks. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tones are what sold me on this product. I was releived that they were'nt as artifical like some processors. And with the right amount of EQ and adjustments you'll be at ease to hear where it will take you. I've made several tracks with sounds that inspried me from the Line 6. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This thing looks like it cost much more than it did. And when customers look at it, I just smile. Action How was the action out of the box? The unit did exactly what it said it would do.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The X3 is in deed Pro quality. I have been playing guitar for 20 years. I have owned every kind of pedal, and now as a home studio musician I am forced to keep it low. With the X3 Pro I can have Pro sounding tones. I have everything I need to record vocals and lay down a bass line. This is the all in one for the home musician! I'm highly impresed with the quality of this unit. It's by far the most important purchase I have made in my endless quest for the perfect tone. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have only owned my X3 Pro for a couple weeks. So far it seems pretty solid. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I am a record at home musician and this X3 Pro has completed me. For starters the X3 Pro has every Input and Output you will need for a live or home studio environment. Right out of the box I figured out how to navigate and customize tones and input and output configurations. I am very picky about tone. I was worried that Amp Model's wouldn't be up to par as I'm an old Fender Amp guy. Boy was I wrong. From a Vox AC30 to a Marshall Stack the Amp Modeling on the X3 is by far the best I have ever heard. The X3 Pro was designed very well with the Studio and live musician in mind. This is the one stop shop for the home musician. With so much tone flexibility and so many configurations with the Amps/Cabinets/room size/effects/type of mic I use Etc. Etc. I can really pull off any tone I want on a pro sounding level. Plus the Dual Tone feature really great! It's easy to edit tones and I was able to quickly learn to use it within a day of receiving it. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The X3 PRO is a pretty looking rack mount. Also with the front knobs that control drive, Bass, Mid, Treb, verb and Presence are really cool to quickly adjust/tweak your tone on the fly. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? You name it, it's in there! The X3 Pro has it all. You can quickly and easily find a tone you love and then some. The X3 Pro tones have been a tool for new songs and new ideas. I'm blown away at the quality. My Gear: Rickenbacker 350V63, Rickenbacker 360-12, Fender 62 American Vintage RI Strat, Fender Jazz Master Classic Player, Fender Tele, Rickenbacker 4003 and a Fender Jaguar Baritone Custom. AMPS: Fender 65 Deluxe Reverb Re-Issue, Fender 80's Princeton II Pedals: You name it!! Too many to list. I own Boss, Digitech Electro Harmonix and some boutique pedals. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The sound quality alone is just amazing. The fact that you have so many ways to record with it is even better. All those outputs and the USB!! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Just got it can't speak to reliability just yet. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I've had this thing for about 24 hours now, and I gotta say it's brilliant. It makes other Virtual Amps sound like cheap toys. I should know, I tried saving $$ and going with cheaper stuff before I broke down and bought this. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck?
