There's a very negligible difference between the tube models and the real thing. I am very impressed with the sound this puts out. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? The Pod Farm interface is very simple to use. I'm still trying to learn the recording software that is included. That is taking a little time. Value Was this item an overall good value? You can experiment with sounds from all major equipment manufacturers. This is great when recording music. I can make my guitar sound emulate everything from Jimi's to Neil with a few clicks, or have my vocal hit with effects so I sound a little like Ozzy or even a telephone operator. No searching for drivers or updates makes life real easy. Value Was this item an overall good value? Worth every penny I spent for it. If your reading this and cant decide between a UX1 or a UX2 - get the UX2 if you plan on singing thru it. Just the time saved swapping cables is worth it. Plus there is a pad on the ux2 so you can record loud external sources like your present amp. I havent tried that yet, so your milage may vary. But I am going to do it once I get the mic I just ordered.
