The integration of the Reason rack into the Record workflow is great. The dedicated SSL-style mixer and new sequencer makes this a better Reason than Reason with audio recording as a bonus.

The UI takes a little getting used to with the multiple windows and all, but once you get the hang of the mixer, sequencer, and rack short cut keys you can fly around fairly quickly. The tool window seems to not quite be right.

Since I have been a Reason user for close to 10 years, it was an easy adjustment. The many windows may confuse a newbie, but with some help from the turotials, which are easy to read, you can clearly see the whole operation.

Too many features to mention but I would add VST importing

the integration of both worlds from music production to the recording side...this is all fairly new to me cause i come from rack era heavy duty equipment...so this eases up space
