Subject:Line 6 Spider Jam = Creativity in a box
Quality: Seems to be well constructed. Does what Line 6 said it would.
Sound: Pretty good. I can get really close tones when playing some of my favorite songs/riffs.
Reliability: I'll let you know when I am more qualified for this question.
Overall: Good amp for personal enjoyment. Love that I can get the tone I want fairly easy. The looping is pretty cool. I have only had for a month, but I'm glad I bought it.
Playability and Feel: Pretty easy to use. Sometimes I think there are too many tone selections. It so easy to go off and get side tracked.

Finish: Good. Was packaged well. UPS punched a hole in the box during shipping but all is well with my amp. No damages.

Subject:Great for Practicing and Learning
Quality: Appears to be well made, the only issue I had was the large know on top was not centered correctly and I was able to adjust pretty easy.
Reliability: I have only own for about 2 weeks and it has not the left the stand in my office, but it appears that it will hold up.
Overall: I like it alot. I am just learning the guitar and I am following a course that has several jam along CDs. After doing the update (check out Line6 site) I was able to rip the CDs on to a SD card and then play them back on the amp. Then I could dub my chord practice and then the lead over top of the recording. Very useful since I then could play back my recordings and hear where I needed to make improvements.
Playability and Feel: I like the control layout of the amp. Lots of features and settings that are easy to get to.
Tone: I have only listened to a couple of tube amps (seeing my first amp was a SpiderIII 15) and I do feel that this amp is not as warm in tone. But the amount of tone options I have to play with is really cool. After adjusting some of the factory settings I am able to get a decent sound.
Finish: The finish is good, except for the know issue.

Subject:Great addition to my studio
Quality: It seems pretty solid for a practice amp. Seems a bit delicate for jamming gigs and road use. I am mostly going to use it in my home studio.
Reliability: I have only had it for one week and no smoke and the knobs still turn..I jammed live with a drummer and it was able to get over the drums with no problem. Nice, loud and clear. Enough bass from the JamTrack to keep the drummer in time and the guitar sound was clean and not muddy sounding.
Overall: The beauty of this amp is the ability to put my studio mixes onto a 2 gig SD card load that card into the Spider Jam and find the perfect lead for my studio mix. The looping feature is a great tool for creativity. I can dub some loops for song ideas on the amp and then transfer them into my sequencer for further experimentation. It is great for a couple of musicians to work on ideas and just have one place to plug in for jamming and recording. I needed a tool that I could just turn on and jam with my mix ideas, instead of having to fire up my workstation and play through my headphones.
Playability and Feel: It feels like an amp....
Tone: I tested this with a Standard Telecaster, Takamine EG530SSC Acoustic Electric Guitar, Sure SM58 mike and a Washburn X16. The Telecaster shines on this thing. Good clear and crunchy. The Washburn rocked on the metal and insane settings. The Acoustic was good and clear and the vocals were presentable. I also miked the amp with the SM58 and a condenser mike and it sounds great in the head phones.
Finish: It is black...with silver knobs....it looks good on the amp stand...
Action: The knobs turn.....
