Product Review Used this for the first time in band practice. Got it dialed in quickly, with no feedback issues, and gradually tweaked the tone throughout the jam. It didn’t take long to get it sounding great. Acoustic guitars present a big challenge in live situations with a band. You can feel the vibration leading to incredible feedback. The Venue tames that beast! Works great and is refreshingly easy to operate.

Product Review Our company manages 80 musicians within Arizona, Texas and Florida. As a musician myself, Im always looking for a supplier that works with gear and has the highest quality service and support. I found out about American Musical and put them to the test. I found the following: 1. Superior Service 2. Easy shopping 3. Extraordinary support 4. Competitive pricing 5. Excellent shipping 6. Phenomenal financing As of now, we review our artists gear and urge them to upgrade through American Musical and maintain great gear for greater performances. That enables them to keep steady cashflow through bookings and always have reliable gear. The financing makes it affordable for them to make monthly payments and we always try to book enough gigs to make the extra earnings to pay for the new gear. It has made a monumental difference in our artists and for our venues "client experience". It has proven itself. Bravo to American Musical for supporting musicians. This is a company that fundamentally is causing great music and great experiences for our artists and customers. They are helping independent musicians earn a living without strapping them with large upfront expenses. Thank you so much AM. You guys Rock!

Product Review I've got 2 LR Baggs Para DI's and have been wanting to try out the Venue DI. I have a Taylor 814 V Deluxe, Taylor 614 and a Taylor 354. I always bring at least one of the 6 strings and the 12 string when I play. All 3 guitars have different tonal qualities, so I wanted separate DI's with EQing abilities for each. The Paras do very well, but I found the Venue to be quicker to dial in a great acoustic tone and it sounds more transparent to me. I love the boost function too!!! Very well built! Like others who have reviewed, the tuner is slow to respond at times and phantom power would have been nice - otherwise this is a 5-plus stars.

Product Review Im very happy with this unit. I play a Taylor & an Alvarez guitar through it. Tuner is very sensitive but good bright display and very visible in dark settings.

Product Review I forgot I even had this but finally played again and it’s phenomenal. Even the tuner, where most of us have one on board or have a clip on, but if nothing else, it’s a great mute button! Plus having the tuner as a backup is always good. It’s great to have a notch filter and boost which I use for fingerstyle. Gain and volume are a great combo plus the level meter/battery meter. It also sounds really good.

Best Working Musician D.I.!

Product Review There's a reason L.R. Baggs is the industry standard when it comes to acoustic instrument amplification. The functionality of the Venue D.I. is nothing less than that. Easy to use controls, the eq and notch filter allow you make small changes to fit any room, and then it's "set it and forget it". The boost is a handy feature for taking a lead break in a band setting, or use it to give your fingerstyle playing a little punch. The option of xlr or 1/4" outs give you the freedom to go straight into the p.a., or use this in-line with other effects(such as the L.R. Baggs effect pedals). Lightweight, compact, and designed for everyone from the hobbyist open-mic'er to the seasoned professional musician. You can't go wrong with the Venue D.I.!

Product Review This thing makes your standard dull built-in mic pre and turns it into magic. The controls allow you to dial in that perfect acoustic tone while giving you a guitar tuner and a killer boost! I always found my acoustic guitars plugged in to be less than satisfying. With this unit you can dial in tones that really fit well in a mix while offering warmth and depth to your music.

Product Review Would definitely recommend. Love the boost and it definitely brings your levels up without the feedback. One downside I do not like or trust the tuner. I do not see myself gigging without this product ever again.

Product Review this DI has been such a delight! I use it to amplify acoustic instruments that might sound too soft without it like a nylon guitar, violin, mandolin, and oud. Very reliable with what it delivers! the case is also a wonderful bonus. you plug in a 1/4inch cable from the input, if there is a battery inside, it will automatically turn on. There is a battery check button right under the volume knob that is so KEY to being on top of all your gears. especially with battery powered. I always want to bring 9v cables all the time and honestly the fact that I can check it's battery means I can casually take it to gatherings or jams or outdoors somewhere plug the guitar anywhere! honestly the possibilities are endless with a clear tone and boost like this one. can't go wrong.

Product Review After buying this pedal, I will never play through an acoustic amplifier again on stage. This thing is loaded with powerful features that enhance the sound of your guitar but does not color it beyond a true acoustic sound. Love it!!

Product Review If your guitar runs direct to the board, you'll absolutely love this product. The acoustic I use for work is twangy at best Brash and loud depending on how I'm playing. The LR Baggs Venue DI Ted my twang, and saved my fans ears!

Product Review I use this with my Taylor acoustic with the expression 2 and the sound quality improvement is incredible. Tone comes out more rich and less "boxy" and the added gain means i can keep the guitar pickup at half. Would be 5 stars but the tuner is a little slow in response and not always easy to use, but the sound is 5.

Product Review No issues with it. Seems to work like it’s supposed to which is something I can’t say about a particular $1,000 pedal from a company I won’t name. Let’s just say a Head and the word Rush MIGHT be involved. Avoid if at all possible. But anyway, for acoustic gigs, this has become a local (New Orleans) standard and, as stated, so far, so good.

Product Review The LR Baggs Venue DI is straight forward, well built and very easy to use. Very sturdy unit I foresee no problems gigging with it for an long time. One thing I absolutely love is how much room is between the mute/tune and boost stomps. I know it’s not something most folks mention, but to me it’s a nice feature, especially on stage, with lots going on. All the controls are very straight forward and simplify getting your sound dialed in. Tuner display is easy to see. Can’t really think of anything that needs to be improved. Buy without hesitation, you will not be disappointed.

Appears to be a solid piece of equipment. So far, it's fine. Your general opinion of this product. Should have had Venue DI years ago. It's a Para Acoustic much more easily adjustable, plus a fine mute/tuner switch and boost switch. I use the mute to change instruments QUIETLY. NA NA NA NA
