This is made very well, and is an extremely good quality stand for this price.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
The best part of the product is the weight, it can hold a medium weight 20in. ride cymbal at a 90 degree angle even when the arm is fully extended. I can't think of anything which could improve it beyond what it already is.
Sound
How is the tone?
When I strike the cymbal with my knuckle, something emits a buzzing noise. Though with a stick, this doesn't happen.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I would consider this stand a tier below pro level stands.

I was presently surprised. It is good quality for the price. I did see a few nicks on the finish and a flake or two. Some company's may have put it into B-stock, but overall I am very pleased. Double braced is solid. I had the opportunity to tour the Ludwig facility recently and liked what I saw.

Cymbal sound good and I don't hear any rattles.

Get your shocks on your truck or van replaced these suckers are heavy. Thanks AMS for the shipping. I put a twenty inch crash ride on one and really gave it alot of abuse and let me tell ya, it didnt budge. I'll get a few years out of em for sure. Nothing lasts forever but these just might make you think so. I particularly like the dual mechanism on the boom angle adjustment, and the way the boom hides inside the stand itself if you want a straight stand. The double braced legs are even reinforced with a third brace, a flat bar between braces. And the span, man I've had em all and these got to be the best looking, most sturdy cymbal stands I have ever thrashed and could not topple. You might have a small kit but these babies spread out nice for a streamlined pro touch, look and feel.
