Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Absolutely. It's Ludwig! It's been dependable so far, and I plan on it being dependable for many years to come. I've never had to use Ludwig Customer Support, so I can't comment on that, but that's a good thing!
Sound
How is its Tone?
Perfect. I use REMO Emperor heads for the ENTIRE kit (I rarely used to use Toms, but now I do, and the 8" Tom is my favorite of all!) and Carbostick Carbon Fiber sticks on the kit and I couldn't ask for a better tone.

Was this item an overall good value?
In theory, yes, absolutely, though it is a skeleton kit. So, I spent around $1000 extra for Istanbul Cymbals, DW Cymbal Stands & Snare Stand, Iron Cobra Beater, Gibraltar Bicycle Throne, New Heads, Sticks, etc. All top of the line stuff to go with a top of the line skeleton kit.
