Product Review I bought this one for my daughter. I have a few more expensive ukes, but I can't put this one down. It's beautiful grain and artwork and plays and sounds so sweet.

Photos look like from a prototype, not what I received.

Two main probs are why I'm returning this. #1 The top of the body is BULGING where the bridge attaches - there is but ONE, short 2 inch brace on the underside of the top of the body, right near the sound hole. I fear this body would crack in a short period of time. #2 - The fretboard is either filthy or has a terrible finish job on it. N/A Your general opinion of this product. A cute looking cheapy. I should've known! The tattoo itself is a cool design, but unlike the photos, there is no stain to darken it to contrast with the body. so consequently, the tattoo is not as visible as we'd like it to be. THe photo shows what appears to be EBONY on top of the head of the guitar - nice and dark. The uke I received has paper-thin "rosewood." The tuners in the photo look like good quality. The one I received is indeed worthy of a $50 intro piece. Never got around to tuning it. Certainly seems playable. I tuned and played my first uke this past summer with family around and we sang some songs together on it. I wanted to buy one to keep for myself. I guess I'll have to spend more money to get something decent. I wouldn't feel comfortable with having this one as anything but a wall ornament.
