Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
So far I have been transporting it to gigs without a case (until last week) and it has never had an issue.
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
To start off there are 28 XLR inputs along with 2 stereo channels. Channels 25-28 have built in compressors and the 4 subgroups each have a compressor, eliminating the need to have a bunch of extra rack gear. dual effects engines, 4 pre sends (effects to aux 1 & aux 2 for monitors) usb in/4 buss recording out and routing galore make this board so versatile. It is also smaller and lighter than most other 24+ channel mixers.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
At first glance this board seems there are a lot of knobs to deal with but everything is intuitive and laid out for easy access.
How is the tone?
The sound is awesome - great channels strips with musical EQ, preamps that sparkle and it is clear and distirtion free.
How has it stood up over time?
This board is solid and I have had no problems at all. I have had this board and been gigging with it since January of 2011.
Your general opinion of this product.
I have replaced another 24+ channel mixer and eliminated a lot of rack gear with this board - and on top of all that it sounds great & has tons of headroom. I love it!
