Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Build tough and sounds solid however, I pushed it into clipping for about 15 minutes and now the unit powers down and resets every time it clips. Even with the gain set to its lowest level, the amp shuts down if it is pushed even the slightest bit. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Easy, just Plug and Play. The weight is a bit of an issue. I put casters on it making it much easier to transport however it still is difficult to move in and out of the car or place where it cannot be rolled to. Sound How is its Tone? The sound is great but I would recommend being very cautious when playing it at high levels. The limit indicator will turn yellow and if it is played for too long without adjusting the gain, the amplifier will fail. I have owned both the JBL PRX500 and the QSC Ksub and I like the sound of the Mackie best but I will need more than one to be completely satisfied with the sound I am trying to achieve on certain gigs.
