Very well made heavy duty cabs ..no protection on the front of the speakers so make sure they are placed where nothing is going to get stuck through them accidently Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? How playable do you consider this product to be? very easy to use and set up ..and works great with my tascam 2488neo Sound How is its Tone? sound quality is probably the best you can get for this price range..its all in how you set up a monitor also..doesnt matter how well they react if they arent set up at the right positions and angles for the room Reliability How has it stood up over time? so far no complaints..ive even accidently over loaded a channel once or twice when setting up for recording and havent blown one yet... Overall Your general opinion of this product. I live the sound and punch of these speakers in my studio...they get LOUD and sound great the whole time ..great low and high end.

Two on the dj set up (you heard, dj set up) and two for the studio. Sound How is its Tone? Great sound. Did you see the dj set up part. Reliability How has it stood up over time? 6 months and counting. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Superb!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Professional quality at a phenomenal price. These things have created a Mackie "junkie" out of me. I just don't want to own anything else. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? To be able to connect via either RCA/TRS/XLR is invaluable at this price level. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I should admire them for their beauty or put them to actual use! Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Getting no sound?! Just be sure to crank up the input adjuster screw on the back. It took me a week to figure it out. But HEY! I'm a novice! AND a non-reader (not to be confused with an illiterate) Sound How is its Tone? Forget the price! The one true reason to purchase these things is to experience sound as it should be. You gain the confidence of knowing if they sound good on the MR5s, then they'll sound good on anything. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I keep them fresh as a baby's bum! Hey I even keep them stored in the box they were shipped in so I can't speak much for their reliability. One thing that frightens me HOWEVER is that they seem to overheat dramatically though I have yet to have anything fail on me. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I love these things! I want to purchase the MR8s just to have them in my arsenal. Overall stellar price, construction and output.

Just taking these monitors out of their boxes gave an initial impression of quality - the heft and feel of the enclosures is great. The controls, switches, and connectors are all solid. The baffles and transducers are of incredible quality. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I appreciate the variety of inputs and the high quality baffles and transducers. The rear port produces amazing bass response and is one of the best features. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? These were very easy to setup and use. The included documentation is clear and explains the "quick setup" for initial use. There is also more extensive documentation available. Sound How is its Tone? The sound of these monitors is simply amazing. They are accurate, produce no noise, and are quite loud if need be. They sound better than the full-sized keyboard amp I had been playing through in the studio. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have just purchased these so reliability is unknown at this time. Overall Your general opinion of this product. I can't think of a better value and better sound for an entry-level pro setup.
