All features are great, with the exception to it not having daw controls, which means that you cannot mixdown using the knobs and faders on the mixer itself.

if you buy the one with the Firewire card, then it's basically a plug-n-play type of installation. easy pease lemon squeezy

the mic pres are great, huge headroom even when it's going straight to the recording software.

really well, I've notice almost no problems over time.

well built, mackie quality and mic pres are actually the best "cheap" mic pres I've used.

This is an excellent pdoduct if used for live recording. If you are planning on multi tracking with this forget it.

Routing and direct monitoring with Sonar 8.5 is impossible. The latency is just overwhelming. I cant find anyway around the problem and Mackie pushes the buck to Sonar. Getting ahold of Sonar on the phone is virtually impossible.

The tone is awesome. The Onyx Preamps are top notch.

Just bought it. I imagine with plenty of TLC it would last a lifetime.
