Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? So far so good. Very well made amp. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had the amp for three weeks. No problems. General Your general opinion of this product. Sound is top notch. I've been playing guitar for 48 years. I've owned and played vintage amps from Fender and Gibson as well as Marshall Silver Jubilees. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Action How was the action out of the box?

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? It's a freakin' tank. That simple. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've not had it terribly long, so I'm reluctant to comment. General Your general opinion of this product. The price point for Marshall tone is truly unbelievable. I'm moving beyond the beginner stage, and wanted a quality amp that was easy to use. This was well beyond my expectations. It's gorgeous. Enough comments have said that it looks like a small Bluesbreaker. That it does. Action How was the action out of the box?

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? These amps are made in England - that speaks volumes right there. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I expect it to stand up well. General Your general opinion of this product. These are great little amps. In fact, this is my third one! The stock speaker in the combo is a great match with the amp. It does need to be played loudly to sound its best - just like a vintage Marshall, however the low volume switch works great to bring it down at home. The Marshall red gives it a hot-rodded look! Looks great! Action How was the action out of the box?

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The combo is solid, and upgraded from the first run of these amps. The first run was woofy and had resonance issues and some of the combos experienced some rattling. This issue has been resolved. No issues with that at all with the newer version. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have only owned the combo for a few weeks so I can not speak on the matter of reliability. General Your general opinion of this product. This is a great amp if you can use it in a loud environment. To get the Plexi tone that so many seek, you'll need to crank this amp up and enjoy! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Great Plexi tone at high volumes. Very good price for a cool combo. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The combo comes in the limited color of red. The red tolex looks great, however the gold piping does not meet and is loose in places. Action How was the action out of the box?

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Well made to be sure. Nice style and design. Yet not to heavy to carry around. Reliability How has it stood up over time? So far so good. Had it for about 3wks. General Your general opinion of this product. Overall, I like the sound of this amp.Wish it had reverb. But nothing beats the sound of tubes in a guitar amp. Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? n-a Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Great looks. Action How was the action out of the box? It worked, which is always a relief.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? MADE IN THE UK!!!!! Hand signed certificate of authenticity included from persons who assembled & tested the amp!!!!! Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only had the amp for a day.....Once again, Marshall quality.....Expect it will last for years with a little TLC!!!!! General Your general opinion of this product. Have wanted a Marshall since the mid-70's, (when I was a "kid").....Now, thanks to AMS & their 25th Anniversary Weekly Giveaway, I have one!!!!! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Amp has "basic" controls.....Volume, treble, middle,bass.....Quite acceptable for my tastes.....Will use my Digitech Pedal to obtain "modeling"/effect sounds..... Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Tone depends on how one adjusts controls.....I am still "experimenting" at this point.....Once again, this Marshall Class 5 produces sounds that are only obtainable with valves..... Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Limited edition red tolex, (my favotite color!!!!!).....Gold control panel looks really "sharp"!!!!! Heavy duty handle for transporting..... Action How was the action out of the box? N/A

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The build of this second round of C5s is perfect. I have both the creme color first edition and the red second edition. The easy to acces tubes and the low power option are great additions. And the unit is definitely built more solid this time around also. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Not one issue as of yet, and none expected. General Your general opinion of this product. Marshall knocked it out of the park here. This 5 watter will impress, with a Good OD pedal it will get to high gain territory. Great package, great sound and simplicity at its finest. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? n/a Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tones are perfect, and the knobs do their job. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? n/a Action How was the action out of the box? n/a

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The new version C5-01 has a redesigned baffle, no rattles. The amp is 12mm birch plywood with 18mm joints which is perfect for holding the 5 watt chassis and 10 inch speaker. The covering is well done and has no ugly corners or seams. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Time will tell. It's built very well also the circuit is simple and easy to work on yourself. General Your general opinion of this product. I am extremely happy with my Class 5. In fact I have been waiting a long time for Marshall to come out with a 5 watt amp. As we all know this is class A not AB like all other tube Marshalls but they have still made it sound like a Marshall! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Feels like about 25 lbs! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? See above: "Sound" Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The "Bluesbreaker" style covering looks great. The limited edition colors are very cool and so retro looking. Action How was the action out of the box? N/A
