Upon arrival,I really didn't take into consideration the fact that it's all presets, and can't plug my drums(well). And the tech was a bit intimidating. Once I got connected to my phone,it opened up hours of guitar exploration! The Eddie VH or rock god setting is an incredible ode to our fallen hero, and the other presets are pretty nice too!!

It is small but plenty loud enough for home or a small gig. You get the great Marshall tone from many different set ups. Also the user preset are pretty good. The app is easy to use and you can control the amp with your phone. The Bluetooth is way cool because you can play along with your favorite artist. I highly recommend this amp.

I was shocked to see how small the amp is, only to be amazing at how BIG it sounds. The effects are great and pretty easy to navigate, and there is a helpful app, too. My only wish is that I had gotten the Code50, just because I like to be loud. I'd definitely recommend this one.

I have the code 50 and wanted something smaller but didn’t want to lose any of the perks. This amp met all my requirements and blew my mind at how much air it will push! All while never losing that amazing Marshall clarity we’ve come to love. Highly recommend to anyone who plays in the bedroom but may want to jam in the garage with the rest of the guys! A real must have!

I really am surprised at the sound and effects this Marshall has! I should have known it’s a Marshall! Great little amp with amazing sound for the price! No more dragging my half stack around to have a little fun with the boys! If you’re on the line of buying this I say... buy it! If you don’t like it American Musical will make it right with their awesome return policy! I bet you keep it! Rock on friends!!

Practice, Punch, and Price

Product Review
I purchased this for home practice, as I needed something small with enough options to keep me interested.
I finally pulled the trigger on this CODE25 and boy am I glad I did. For the price I don't think it can be beat. It looks sweet. It's easy to use, comes stock with 100 interesting tones that can each be modified and saved over. After a quick firmware update, the Bluetooth works flawlessly allowing me to control the amp with my phone, tablet, or computer. There is a large database of user created presets you can download onto your phone, effectively doubling the available tones. Simple to switch between tones on the amp or tone settings stored on your phone. Change the order, replace, upload your own to share, or use other people's creations.
The sound is fantastic for such a small practice amp. I haven't even taken it above mark 3. Playback available through Bluetooth or an MP3 connection. Standard headphone jack.
For firmware updates and computer connection you will need a micro USB DATA cable. It does not come with one which is the only negative thing I can say about this amp.
I love it. Packs a powerful punch for a practice amp at a premium price point. Highly recommend it, and with AMS offering some of the best payment options and QUICK shipping, not much else to say.

I think this amp is great. Only having cheaper gear to use in the past I was impressed when I got to hearing what this amp could do. The only downside is that I have troubles sometimes connecting the amp to my phone. Other than that it’s perfect for a bedroom amp for me.

A Modeling Amp with real Marshall Tone.

Product Review
Ive owned many Marshalls over the years. Mostly Marshall heads but also few combos.
I have an original White Marshall Half Stack, from '1983, the "Randy Rhodes", Anniversary LTD. Ive also owned many modeling amps, including Line6 and Vox. So, when i ordered the Marshall Code 25 with high hopes, it was also with an experienced ear.
Well, this little digital powerhouse Marshall does not disappoint.
It offers classic Marshall tones, both clean and distorted, is easy to tweek, is loud enough for gigs with a drummer and bass, and is a lovely looking amp, and its designed with a very classic Marshall aesthetic.
Having one of these is one more pro-tool in your Tone-Box that will inspire and satisfy you.

Having a family owning a true tube stack isn't realistic for me. But I've owned other modeling amps. Line 6 75 watt and the Peavey Viper both were good for what they are. But this little amp is a monster! As close as you can get to an all valve Marshall. Massive gain good effects and it gets loud! If you want true Marshall tone but either can't or just don't want to spend a few grand then get this thing. You wont believe your ears. Great amp!

I wanted to get a little amp just to play around with, when I didnt feel like messing with the halfstack and waking up the neighbors . This amp is pretty darn loud though but works well on lower volumes . I swapped the speaker out because I had a speaker laying around. I put in a gws speaker and it made a ton of difference with the sound. The pre sets need tweaking in my opinion. A lot are too trebly and harsh but are easily altered.

This amp is perfect if you're looking for Marshall tone on a budget. I used to play professionally and played through a JVM 410 head and a Mesa 4x10 cab. When I quit playing professionally I sold my rig to a friend. I was looking for a cheap small practice amp, but I still want true Marshall tone. The Code has exceeded all of my expectations. I loved how versatile the JVM was, and the Code is every bit as versatile, if not more. Whether you want harder rock tones like the JVM or DSL, or more classic rock tone like the JCM800 or the JTM45, it can do it.
What impressed me most was how close the different amp settings sound to the real thing. If I played the Code on the JVM OD setting right next to my old JVM on the OD1-red setting, I'm not sure I would be able to notice much of a difference. I wish this amp would have come out 9 years ago! It would have beat lugging around my half-stack, and I could have spent 1/10th the money!
