General Your general opinion of this product. I was using a Peavy 6505+ 112 that had been converted into a head and feeding a 4x12. The clean channel sucked and I couldn't quite get the sound I wanted no matter how much tweeking. The I purchased the DSL and it BLOWS the Peavey away. This amp has more gain then you would ever need. It articulates the harmonic notes like the Peavy could never do, and sounds amazing. I play Metal and this thing is heavy. I was looking at other Peavies and EVH 5150 when my gut told me just get the Marshall. Wish I had done this earlier, now my tone chasing is done. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Made in Vietnam but it seems very solid. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Marshall growl that will cut through any mix, and a Fenderish clean channel. Action How was the action out of the box? Plug and play Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Marshall gold and black. enough said. Reliability How has it stood up over time? We will see, it has a Five year warranty.
Everything you could ever want or need in an amp !!!!!

General Your general opinion of this product. It's a Marshall. That kind of says it all. Only down side is the footswitch can't control the effects loop off and on. Marshall techs tell me there is no other footswitch available. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I haven't had it long, about a month. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Some nice tonal adjustments. Easy to get different sounds. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Standard black. Black is still formal and elegant.
Don't let the ridiculously reasonable price fool you!

General Your general opinion of this product. Unbelievable tone for the money. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Sure looks like and feels like a rugged Marshall. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The controls are simple and to the point. Go from Crunch or Clean to blistering lead at the tap of a button. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? All kinds of vintage Marshall tone awaits. Clean tone was surprisingly more fenderish than I expected, though still has that classic Marshall clean tone too. That amazing unmistakeable Marshall crunch is of course there. If you're a hard rock or metal fan you'll not be disappointed. I once thought Mesa was the only option to get my Metallica tone. Nope. My MXR 10 band scooped gets any MOP or AJFA tone you'd want. It doesn't stop there of course you can get any tone from the 60's and 70's too. AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and my other fave Black Sabbath. Action How was the action out of the box? Ready to rock right out the box with my 1960BV cab loaded with Celestion vintage 30 speakers on call. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Looks kick a$$ the way any Marshall half stack should. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Real new so can't say, but have no fear it will let me down.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? built like a marshall. sounds like a marshall. not for the room. Reliability How has it stood up over time? still new. General Your general opinion of this product. sounds great. this is a metal monster. no need to use 3rd gain leval. second chanel gain at 3 o'clock and you are in kse, inflames, shadows fall neck of the woods. turn the volume to 12 o'clock and you will be smiling from ear to ear. all the tone of the great classic rock and blues. remember cost has nothing to do with tone. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? very loud and clean. the tone nobs will give noticable tone changes with very little movement. i love this. not for the bedroom. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? turn the volume to 12 o'clock and be ready to be happy. this amp has the roar you are looking for. the longer you let the tubes warm up the better. i turn the power on my amp befor the first band starts, and by the time it is my turn, I throw the standby switch and go to work. loud and clear. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? looks like a marshall. Moms if you are getting this for the kids, they will have something to be proud of. Action How was the action out of the box? no need to replace tubes. responds to your guitar like a solid state. clean tone is very nice. fender/vox nice.
