Marshall, Still Delivering The Goods...
Quality:
Head made extrememely well. Cab looks great as well, perhaps not the 1960, but definitely a decent cab.
Sound:
Should be able to dial up almost any tone from this outstanding amp, from classic to modern marshall and more.
Reliability:
Too new to say.

Outstanding product from Marshall, has it all.

Sounds great especially for the price point
Quality:
When I received the amp, the head had the wires hanging out the front from the reverb tank. Wasn't a hard thing to correct, but should have been caught at Marshall.
Sound:
The tone is pure Marshall, but I plan on replacing the tubes soon. That will make it even sweeter!
Reliability:
Don't know, but from experience with Marshall, you've got nothing to worry about
Overall:
I owned a TSL that sounded louder, but this amp still puts out some serious power. I played the more expensive Marshalls, and this sounds better to me. Don't waste your money.

Anything from clean to maximum distortion. Get it. You won't regret it.

I love the black piping on the head vs. the white.

This thing has some serious crunch
Quality:
Unsurpassed by anything of I've ever played on. It dwarfs my other marshall half stack(valvestate vs100 head and cab).
Reliability:
I've had it for about a month now and have played a few shows. So far so good.
Overall:
There's one little thing that kind of sucks. The foot switch is only 1 channel. There are 4 channels so you can't switch to a lighter crunch (that the classic gain offers) from from the clean channel which is nice and warm by the way. The same can be said of the ultra gain channel having two channel within it and not being able to switch between them. This becomes a problem for say if I want to use wah, the ultra gain lead 2 is too gainy for a cry baby. However on classic gain crunch it sounds very nice.
Playability and Feel:
It's loud. I mean everyone in the rehearsal studio can here this bad mother XXXX.
Tone:
Lead 2 in drop D with the deep switch depressed is down right evil. Do a mid scoop with the tone button to mimic Metallica if thats your thing. Personally I like mids, they make for a brighter sound. An ESP Eclipse custom helps.
Finish:
She is a beaut. Whats the deal with Equalization being spelled Equalisation. Or am I just a dumb?
Action:
I pulled it out and let it chill for a minute. I went back to work where I read the manual. (it came while I was on my lunch break) Anyway after work I plugged it in and turned it on, I let the tubes warm up for about ten minutes then went at it for three hours. I think I pissed the neighbors off a little bit having it somewhere around 4 or 5 on the volume.

You don't see this very often
Quality:
So far so good. Only a couple of shows but never a hiccup.
Sound:
Outstanding. Of course you should probably be looking for the classic Marshall voicing. There's plenty of range for every application. Every knob has a real effect on the sound and so far I've not found a bad setting even though some aren't specifically to my taste. Unpacked it, let the tubes warm up for about 15 minutes and she sang like a chorus of tortured angels. (in a good way) Nothing but butter since.
Reliability:
I've had the amp a couple of weeks and so far so good. Not much of a testimonial but I'll try to get back to you in a few years.
Overall:
Rarely does one see a product come out that is, for lack of a better term, a complete no brainer. Easy to dial in tones, solid build, straightforward controls and not to mention incredibly well priced. Everybody should own one of these. Even if you're not into larger amps, even if you don't own a guitar. Deals like this come along far too rarely to pass it up.
Playability and Feel:
Tone:
Whaddya want? If you can't get a tasty tone you might want to get an ear transplant. Plenty of versatility. I guess there may be some that want a different sound but who really cares about those guys anyhow?
Finish:
I would have preferred the white piping but nobody asked me.

Marshall at an affordable price!!
Quality:
Seems well put together about the same as all newer Marshall's. Head works well with the cab, if you can stand cranking it up without ear protection it will get a good wail on. Ultra gain channel is a bit much but the others work well enough not to need it.
Reliability:
I returned the 1st head due to overheating problems and AMS was on the ball and replaced it. 2nd unit works well. Both units were noisy but a few upgrades like tubes and a Mercury transformer down the road will take care of that.
Overall:
Im British....its a Marshall that I can afford...Nuff said
Playability and Feel:
Using it with a THD Hotplate and that allows really cranking it up, seems to work well with the THD on 8 or 12db, no loss of tone that I can tell.
Tone:
Sounds good with my American Strat and Les Paul
Finish:
Understated, its a Marshall

Marshall DSL100MLB package at this price? I am a believer!!!
Quality:
Top notch Marshall quality in every way. The head is every bit a DSL100 with new, quality "levant" tolex, which I actually like better than the classic elephant grain. The cab grill and head facing is the high quality Marshall black tweed. Cab top does not have anti-skids, but that is because the head has big rubber feet instead of the spring feet. Cab is MDF, not birch...but still compliments this head and imo sounds great.
Reliability:
Only had it for 2 days...so far, so good :)
Overall:
For this price, you cannot beat this deal. After doing some research, overall I am very pleased indeed!!! I was a little skeptical to see a package DSL100 for this price, not anymore. Just for kicks, check out the specs of the new Marshall Model 1923 head "85", it's price, and see if something seems similar, hmmmm?!?
Playability and Feel:
Clean channel is bright and very clear, LEAD channels are smooth, a little brassy, but that is what equlization is for. Still playing around of course, but it sounds just like the DSL's of old.
Tone:
DSL100 with MC412, PRS CE22. Clean is smooth, snappy and bright, responsive. Lead channels are hot, playing with the various switches...DEEP, TONE SHIFT, and Eql...you can achieve a wide variaty of good tones. Reverb is real spring reverb, adds a nice touch and depth when needed.
Finish:
Perfect, smells like a new Marshall LOL!!! Courner protectors have brass rivits, not screws like on some MG's. Just awesome visually!
Action:
Plugged it in within an hour of unpacking, turned on power...let the tubes warm up a bit, hit the standby and played for 2 hours straight.
