The coolest feature, I think, is the footpedal, which allows you to switch back and forth between what they call the "Modern" channel and the "Classic" channel (although in reality you can set the channels for whatever sound you want". Sound How is the tone? Tone is adjustable between the Modern and Classic channels, with a Mid Freq knob in the Modern and Voice Shift & Voice control in the Classic. You should be able to dial in pretty much whatever you're looking for - especially in the genres of jazz, funk, classic rock and alternative rock. I was able to get a pretty close-to-perfect tone for B.B. King and Alman Bro's on stage the other night. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Agsin, it can handle bright or dark, depending on you. I wouldn't say it can do everything, but it's pretty versatile.
