Edwin B Ballard from Kodiak Alaska
Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I am a player not a builder but as far as I am concerned this amp is well made and reliable.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
My first year and zero problems. It gets played at least twice a week by me and my 2 kids use it from time to time.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
The size and volume work perfectly for me. I just play in church.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The amp and speakers react honestly to my playing and guitar settings. when you've got it right you know it but if you got it wrong it shows it also.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The MHZ15 stack has pronounced bass and middle so I would say it is on the dark side but the treble does cut through. It gets over my drummer easily.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The black and silver look good together and it does get noticed on stage.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
It sounded a little stiff but not horrible. It has losened up since then and sounds great now.
