Product Rating Product Review As I am just learning guitar I wanted an amp that could be used anywhere in the house and not drive the family crazy! The amp performs as I expected and would recommend for someone looking to be able to plug in to practice at less than arena volume levels. Nice tone as I try to learn some Metallica riffs.

This is a great sounding little system. I was shocked at the quality of this stack. I have only had this a short time. However being a Marshall product I am sure it will be reliable. Your general opinion of this product. My overall opinion is that I am impressed. I would recomend this mini stack to anyone that would like an amp to take with them on business trips, etc.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
well built, although the MS2 seems to be stronger and more rugged.

FEATURES:
for it's size they're okay....but this doesn't have radio stations like people say!

EASE OF USE:
super easy, just put the battery (included) in and you're ready to go, the controls are a snap to learn.

VALUE:
the best portable amp out there...go for it!

SOUND:
clean sounds are awesome, but the distortion leaves a lot to be desired...you can't palm mute with this amp, 'cause it will sound like you're holding the strings completely. if you like to palm mute like me, you'll have to apply veeeery little pressure on the strings so they sound right. and another thing....the distortion in general is not so great at all...if you crank the gain all the way up, it will sound like a radio with interference...be very careful with the settings...

STYLE:
rock, metal, punk

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
The one I bought was fine for about two weeks. The bottom speaker started to rattle a little after about three hours of power chords on a long car ride. I fixed it with a screwdriver, and, no more trouble!

FEATURES:
If you crank the gain and volume to 10, it will give about as much distortion as you can ask for from 2 1/2" speakers. Reverb would be a plus. I bought mine to use at work when I'm not working and it serves it's purpose just fine. The headphone jack helps too.

EASE OF USE:
Unless you are dumb or completely new to anything about amplified music, you can't mess this up. You have volume, gain, and tone. It doesn't get any easier. Good, cheap, reliable, battery powered starter amp for that five year old who wants a guitar.

VALUE:
This amp is everything I expected it to be. It is a little louder than I thought it would be though. It will surprise yoiu with it's volume. I have no complaints or regrets a

Your general opinion of this product. This unit is so neat you almost want to buy one for every room of the house! OK, let's get serious. The gain is weak, as other reviewers have said. If it had a little more gain, and reverb (how much would that cost to throw in, not too much?), it would be awesome. Now it's ok for whatever most people would use it for (if they didn't just use it as a nick-nack), such as in a car, a park, or during a blackout! It's as loud as I would expect, and will allow me to practice up anywhere I desire. It's a novelty not to be outdone! Considering what you can get a Fender Frontman DSP amp for money wise, like I said, it should have better gain and some reverb. But...I'm happy to have spent my $50 for it and would suggest you do the same if you need to practice on the run or in the park. Now, here's the weird part. I set my guitar on the floor, and next thing you know I hear music coming from the amp! It was a radio station! I'm no electrical engineer, but perhaps the cord could have b
