Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The feel, weight and look is industrial strength. The ribbon assembly is delicate and that's where there may be issues. There are noticeable differences in sound between units. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Pattern is unique to ribbon mics. Much more consistent than the figure-8 setting on variable pattern condensers. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Not for live sound, especially outdoors. Takes some care in handling and placement. Sound How is its Tone? I have had three and sent back the oddest sounding unit to have sort of a rough stereo pair. The odd unit was kind of midrangy and ringy. Both the "keepers" are warm, roll off smoothly in the treble but capture a "real" image that has a lot more clarity but less edge than most of my condensers. My ears like them even more than my wallet, which likes them a lot. Good for horns, guitar cabs, some vocals, drum OH.
