| I demo'ed D-28, D-18, D-16, and D-16R. The D-16R was the best sounding of the four, hands down. It looks great, with the white border on the black fingerboard. The pick guard is tortise, which IMHO looks better than the black
My only complaint is the set-up from the factory. The nut is so high, playing a F chord is difficult and the saddle is on the high side too. I guess I was expecting a better setup job than that on my 1992 $300 Washburn | |

| This guitar, for the money is excellant. I feel very comfortable when playing country music. I have expermented with differant strings and have concluded that Martin's 80/20 ST Bronze are the best for me. I highly recommend this guitar for any level of ability. | |

| overall this guitar rocks, it rivals many more expensive guitars. After some upgrades it is for me the perfect guitar and will be with me for a long time. Will it sound like a d-28?
