Electronics & Martin Customer Service Lacking

Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The Little Martin guitar seems to be structurally well made; however, none of the electronics in the guitar I ordered worked (including the input jack). The guitar also seemed to have a tuning issue.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I cannot speak to how the Little Martin would hold up over time because the one I purchased was inoperable upon receipt.

Your general opinion of this product.
I love the sound and feel of the Little Martin, but am extremely disappointed in Martin's level of customer service. The Martin repair facilities were weeks out on repairing my "new" guitar that I received for Christmas and the Martin factory was over 10 weeks out on repairing it. Upon calling Fishman, the makers of the electronics, they told me to take it to my local music tech and pay to have the electronics removed to send back to them. Once the defective electronics were received by Fishman, they would send out replacements and I could pay to have them reinstalled. I was even told by the Martin factory that the high-end guitar took priority over my "new" purchase. Thank goodness AMS has a return and refund policy! I will never purchase a Martin again.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The guitar was very solid. From an acoustic standpoint it was enjoyable to play; however, I could not test the acoustic electric capabilities.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
From an acoustic standpoint, the Little Martin sounded as good as my full-size.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I loved the look of the Little Martin.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The guitar needed to be set-up

I'm AMAZED at the huge sound if this little beast...right out of the box! Very easy to play! Fingers don't hurt when playing for long periods. Love the small scale! ABSOLUTELY IMPRESSED!

Neck seems a little heavy but not worth complaining about...SUPER ALL AROUND!

Amazing workmanship, added bonus was the built-in tuner, and embroidered Martin bag.

Plays great all over the neck. It has new strings so they'll have to smooth out a bit.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Tone is bright un-amped. Tone can be changed with amp EQ. Pickups are fine.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I like the plain-ness of it.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action is fine, and there are instructions on how to change the action.
