B-Towner from Bakersfield, CA
Subject:
A little disappointed
Quality:
Yes I would say it is made well.. It is lighter than I expected
Sound:
Tone is great.. Sounds crisp and clean with a resonating base tone as well
Reliability:
I have only had it for a month now We will see how the finish holds up over time
Overall:
I have 3 other guitars (Yamaha and 2 Ovations) and saved up for the Martin as I always wanted one
Playability and Feel:
Plays well, It is an very good finger picking guitar as expected allows me to get a little more technical with it. I enjoy playing no doubt.
Tone:
Like I said it is clean and crisp
Finish:
This is really the only disappointment I have the finish is dull and plain jane... For a $1000+ guitar I guess I was expecting a little more in the finish department.
Action:
Action was about medium. I put a set of lighter gauge set of strings and that helped a bunch
Skill Level:
Intermediate

omc-1e in the house!
Quality:
Feels very solid, just like you'd expect of a Martin guitar.
Sound:
Sweet, well-balanced tone. A lot louder acoustically than I expected. A superb instrument to accompany a singer.
Reliability:
Just got it, but I expect it to last a long time, based on Martin's reputation.
Overall:
Great-sounding, great-playing stage guitar.
Playability and Feel:
Plays as smooth as melted butter. Fingerpicking or flatpicking -- equally adept.
Tone:
Love the acoustic tone. Plugged in sounds a bit piezo-quacky but that's to be expected. Running it through my sansamp acoustic DI smooths out the quackiness.
Finish:
Nice satin finish. No problems here.
Action:
Action was a little bit low, but not too bad. Buzzed a little bit when I strummed it hard, but a tweak on the truss rod fixed that.
