It's been a pleasant addition to my horn case (it's small, bendable, and fits darn near anywhere); doesn't get in the way. It has been a godsend for my aging eyes. I put thin rubber pads on the clip contact surfaces; Now I can mount it in any position and it doesn't wiggle or dislodge on the stand.

Operation is very straight forward. Clip on the stand and push the buttons until you get the brightness of light that works for you. Correct glare issues by moving the stand angle (to eliminate overhead glare) and adjust the light heads for even, clear distribution of light.

Was this item an overall good value?
Value has always been a moving target for me - I still remember $5.50 Levis. That said, I didn't bark at the price. This light is proving to meet all my expectations. It's design and size make it multi-purpose too. Use it around the house for those tight places needing light on the honey-do list. I even stuck the thing in a guitar to see if the braces where still tight during a repair; it's that good!

Able to light full music stand. The flexible neck allows you to point light where you want it. Battery or AC operation is convenient.

Very effective light source, easily placed, and able to light "desired" area.
