very pleased with the card. took it out of the box, switched the jumpers to allow line signal levels through the XLR connectors, and started recording. Easy as that. The software mixer is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. The value is unbelievable, i am guessing the lack of a breakout box brings the price down but not the quality. |

| It was pretty straight forward. I'm not sure how it would be for a novice. Again, the control panel and driver install was very simple and to the point. MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE LATEST DRIVERS. |

| I had the rare issue of having my signals coming in too hot. A jumper adjustment corrected that. Not the cards fault |

| I bought a USB solution in an attempt to be mobile. I sold the 1010LT to accommodate the new purchase - I bought it back from the guy I sold it to a week later. The sound and latency on the 1010LT is, far, superior to anything on the consumer market. |
| Overall:
| Get one. You won't be disappointed. The only drawback is that getting to the connections is a pain because they are all behind the computer. It's not a deal breaker, though. |
