QUALITY: Seems to be very well made and durable.
FEATURES: Continuously adjustable pressure, and you can put it on with one hand.
EASE OF USE: It's a capo... you don't really need many instructions.
VALUE: Is is worth $40? To me, no. It's a nice product with a clever mechanism, but for me it does not outperform other capos that cost half as much. Victor and Shubb give a much cleaner sound on my acoustic guitars than the G7. Now, if being able to use it with one hand is vital to you, then that feature alone may be worth the money, but that is not an issue for me.
SOUND: I use capos extensively, and for me the main issue is that they give a clean and resonant sound, as much like having the nut at the capo position as possible. The G7 does adequately in this regard, but Victor and Shubb sound noticeably cleaner and less muted than the G7 on my instruments.
