Great Concept but needs tweaks.

Product Rating Product Review This pedal works pretty good. It is an optical pedal and in direct sunlight ....its useless. I took the pedal apart (voiding warranty), modified the optical slots to get better control of pedal, and then used silicon to plug all areas where light can enter into the pedal and overload the optical sensors. So, if you want a cheaper pedal you can tweak....its awesome! If you have giant feet like me....its awesome! If you want a plug and play without any adjustments....I'd look at another pedal.

Product Review Your hands are busy playing. Whether you are playing a striking solo or dishing out that perfect rhythm, your hands are occupied and you dont have time to adjust your tone.... Unless you have a Morley Volume pedal. Just rock on this pedal and that sound you having going just got better with loudness. Now everyone can hear you.

Product Review New into pedals, I was looking for a pedal to help me control my volume effortlessly between lead and rhythm when needed. So far I'm really happy with it.

Product Review I love the rigid construction along with transparent sound. This is an absolute must have, I know my Les Paul loves its presence on the the pedal chain! And only AMS delivers, literally, the best products. I am a loyal customer and also have been for some time. Morley is a true Ferrari of pedals! I definitely implore anyone, serious, with guitar needs to read reviews and research this pedal. 5stars all day and night! At least try it...

Yes it seems well made and durable no issues. Have not had it long enough to review. Your general opinion of this product. Good so far as I was trying to get the volume swell at the beginning of "Where the Streets Have No Name" U2. I was not a big Morely fan but liked the idea of an optical sensor over a pot. Seems well made, metal and sturdy. The min volume setting is pretty nice for setting the heel position (min volume) to something other than zero. I have to mention someplace - The pedal has a HUGE foot print and is half again times the size of a standard wah type pedal ( 5.5 in. wide in x 9 in. long) if you are cramped for space keep it in mind. Not a factor I bought this in the scratch and dent pile to save some cash. ( I still cannot find the scratch/dent. The action takes some getting use to and is "very" sensitive to get a gradual swell - just a (hair) fraction of motion is required or you will think it is either full on or off. I did notice that when you rock it full toe forward it goes past zero so your toe is down and heel up.I am not sure why they did that...not like my other wah type pedals.

it does seem rather well-built, but we'll see how it stands the test of time. morley's a big steel box, but we'll see how the treadle holds up. i just got it. Your general opinion of this product. i had never been a morley fan since i owned and subsequently sold my first-ever wah pedal about fifteen years ago. after trying several different volume pedals, and experiencing tone loss (dunlop high gan, the dvp1, and every ernie ball pedal i tried), i decided it was time to give morley another shot. success! a good, heavy pedal. if it stops working, i can always use it for lifting weights. no tone loss, no signal degradation it's black! a guitar has action, a pedal does not.

This pedal was definately made well. We'll have to see. Just got it but its built very well and I'm sure its mad to last. Your general opinion of this product. I think this pedal works great. It sounds clean and it has a smooth volume transition. The minimum volume knob is awesome which is how I will be using it. Basically a boost pedal with now drive. The minimum volume knob has a foot switch for going back and forth between the tradtional volume peda. Nice. Nice pedal Action. Really Smooth. No tone change noticed. Haha well done
