QUALITY:
The 2408 does have some Windows compatibility problems but once you've got everything sorted out...this thing rules. Especially if you're doing transfers from ADAT/Tascam. Its biggest caveat is that MOTU's customer service department is a cruel joke. Their help desk is manned by a crack staff of busy signals.
FEATURES:
It sounds great. The amount of I/O is amazing...especially for the price.
EASE OF USE:
Once you've got Windows tamed, it takes care of itself. Seemless.
VALUE:
Yes.
SOUND:
It sounds fantastic. ADAT folks will need to master dithering issues to get stuff to come over noise-free. The analog I/O is very nice.

QUALITY:
I had no problems with the quality of this interface. The connections are strudy and will last along time.
FEATURES:
This thing is loaded. I use this with my Mac G4 and it works great. The 24 channels of ADAT optical are awesome and the fact that you can use more than one of these interfaces at a time rocks.
EASE OF USE:
I thought this was going to take a long time to set up and get this running but the setup wizard made things go alot faster.
VALUE:
This interface has so many I/O options that it is hard to beat for this price.

QUALITY:
built like a tank,fit and finish are top rate, very classy unit with features galore!
FEATURES:
24 ADAT channels, 8 analog, seperate monitor levels and quemix console is nice touch
EASE OF USE:
with windows you have to use the ASIO drivers, but other than that anyone can jump rite in

I have many interfaces for my DAWs,from the big names and this gives the most for your money, some of the best money I've spent!
