Monstrous Bass!!!
Quality:
Feels and seems very well made, very sturdy. Had the MTD Heir and this ZX surpasses that bass by a huge margin.
Features:
The best feature for me is the tone quantity*, Meaning that there are several sounds and tones able to be produced from this amazing bass. What ever you play this bass can do it!
Sound:
Tone has a Bite! I played this last night at a reharsal and as I stood in front of my David Eden Cabinet (purchased from AMS) It felt like Mike Tyson was punching me! NO JOKE!
Playability and Feel:
This is a fast playing bass. I never knew I could runs scales and licks so fast. The neck is great.The controls are good, not in the way where u turn them while playing but easily accessible.
Tone:
This bass can be Bright and snappy or dark and smooth. What ever you want. Pick ups are Barts...Enuff said!
Finish:
The finish has been getting compliments every where that I go! Its such a beauty. My very own Black Beauty
Action:
Out of the Box the action is AMAZING!! Tune her up and play!

Nothing short of amazing!!!!!
Quality:
The quality of this bass is great as well. Solid constiction and fairly lite weight. Extremly well made. But what else would you expect from the great mike Tobias.
Features:
This bass has it all Bart electronics, the tuners are great they keep the bass in tune even under the most agressive playing situations. Even the stock mtd strings sound great. There is nothing I would change on this bass. My grow some blue steals on later on down the line, but that's only a matter of personal prefurance
Sound:
The tone on this thing is insane. Worm clean tone. And the grawl!!!!!!! Wow this thing grawls at you doc. It has a voice of it's own nothing like it out right now. It's almost like a cross between the mtd 535 and the pre Gibson Toby. Truly a sound all it's on.
Playability and Feel:
The neck is wider then usual but I love that also. I have long fingers so it's perfect for me. It feels great in my hand. The controls are easy to get to and easy to understand.
Tone:
Very snappy sound great for slap style technique.
Finish:
The finish is stunning. The pictures don't do this ax justice. You really have to see it in up close and personal to really appreciate it's beauty.
Action:
The action right out of the box was incredible. So easy to play.... Anything you can think about you can play on this bass. Just tune up and your ready to go. Playing mainly gospel and r&b in need a bass that can respond when I play certain licks. This bass almost plays itself.
