Even without a locking trem, this thing stays in tune, flutters, and is capable of doing any acrobatics you throw at it. That being said, this is not just a shreddy guitar, the tone is phenomenal, played through a small tube amp all the way up to giant stack or through a pod/axefx type recording rig. Piezo for those country licks? Why not! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? This pickup combo is going into several of my other guitars. It's that good. Love that crunchlab! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Don't usually like guitars with paint on the neck, but this one is not sticky at all, in fact the purple paint on this makes me very happy. I want a hotrod car in this same color. Action How was the action out of the box? Most guitars out of the box are a little high for my taste. Easy fix. ait a couple month for it to acclimate, then spend a $100 on a setup from the best guy in town. This is true for any guitar.
