This sound shield does an excellent job of not only isolating unwanted noises from your vocal recording,but it also insulates the vocal nuances some performers can create with their voices for a clearer easier to capture and master production.

This is my first shield and it works like wonder for me! I use this with a Sterling St155 and a treated room and the vocals turn out perfect! Definitely recommended.

Measured sound dampening with and without using a 31 band RTA microphone, measuring ambient noise before and after. Noticed some dampening - was not complete, but based on its size would not expect that to occur. Easy to assemble, and look forward to working with this product to improve vocal recordings.
