General What is your overall opinion of this product? The Adjustments that they tout are slim and none! The seat has about 1/2 in of movement, before it hits the end or the very PLASTIC tightening screw that keeps the backrest from moving at all. The footrest is WELDED in place, NO adjustment whatsoever. If you want it farther from the seat, all you can do is raise the seat. Sooooo, to sit at the keyboard, you have to either raise your keyboard, or put up with the footrest hitting the back of your legs. If I get it comfortable at the keyboard , then switch to guitar, the footrest has my knees in my chin. I would call it a guitar stool and either make the footrest adjustable, or don't call it a keyboard throne.
I just received my On Stage DT8500

What is your overall opinion of this product? Great seat! Adjustable to allow you to not look like a dwarf when playing with standing muscians. I play bass and after getting one of these stands I got 2 more for our guitarist and sax player.
