Works as advertises, be sure to budget for a boom too
What is your overall opinion of this product?
This product is simple and fully functional. You insert it into a tube on your keyboard stand (after removing the end cap from the stand tube), tighten the handle, and voila--you now have a conveniently placed mic stand that doesn't take up additional room on stage. However, the stand requires a boom to be fully usable by a keyboard player, so be sure to budget for and buy one when you buy this. I happened to have a spare boom on hand when this showed up, and it was a good thing that I did.
How is the quality of the product? Was it well made?
The product is well made, and worked perfectly on the first try. I haven't owned it long enough to know how long it will last, but it's made of pretty heavyweight metal, and I don't expect it to fall apart.
Are the features on the product what you were expecting? What are your favorite features?
The product works very well with my World Tour Double-X stand, which is by a different manufacturer. It's nice that it works with standard sizes from different manufacturers.
Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range?
For less than $15, this thing saves space onstage and setup time. What's not to like?
