I've tried a few different LED lights for music stands & piano. Theses have the widest coverage for a smaller unit and easily light up a two page chart. They will run off batteries but also come with an A/C adapter. The length of the A/C adapter cord is longer than the other units I've tried which is awesome. I can put this on a traditional piano music rack and there is enough cable length to go down the width and side of the piano that I can plug into a power strip on the floor. Other units (if they come with an adapter) typically aren't long enough to allow the cable to reach the floor which then means extension cords which fire marshals don't like! Give it a try! Also comes with a good size storage pouch to keep organized - nice plus!

I have 2 of these lights I use 1 for my pedal board at gigs with batteries and the other on my music stand with the included AC adapter they both work great I have gotten 3 night of gigging out of the batteries with no dimming at all. I could have gotten a little more but didn't want to chance it. Do what I did and wait for them to show up on a twofer sale and then grab a few

Before Onstage came out with this light, I bought the larger orchestra LED lights - of this size/design - at twice the price from another manufacturer. I am happy with the build quality of these units, and the light output is excellent.

Outstanding light dispersal, good battery life, and a solid clip-on connector. Works very well on a standard piano music desk as well as on a Manhasset-style stand. If you need light to illuminate 2 full pages at a time, look no further!

Offers ample light, and with 2 settings, can be controlled to your liking and the situation. The LEDs remain cool to the touch. And they aren't inclined to breakage like a hot incandescent light bulb is.
I have replaced my Manhasset lights with these, for my gigging rigs.

The product works as advertised, and the adjustable light settings are a great addition that I did not realize I was getting. My only complaint, and reason for the star reduction is the size and usability of the clip. Yes, it has some grip to it, but the width and awkward shape of the clip does not allow for this light to be easily clamped to many objects other than a music stand or other thin object. You won't see this work that well with certain mic stands, keyboard stands, and workstations/desktops. I purchased it hoping to help light up one of my keyboards when playing in darker clubs/venues. It was difficult to find a place that I could clip it, that wasn't in my way or an eye sore.

I’ve tried several stand lights in the past 30 years and this one meets my expectations. It is wide enough to cover the complete stand. It also has the 110 volt adapter so batteries are not required if power is available.

Along with mic stands, music stands are used all the time in the studio. A good light really helps out! On Stage's LED510 Orchestra Light does the job! The light fills the whole music stand. It comes with both battery and power cord. The light has a bright and dim feature, but its easy to think you shut the light off on the dim mode which can drain the battery(hit the button 3x to turn off).

It is small enough and bright enough to light the whole hammered dulcimer board. Perfect for low light situations.
