I looked at a lot of stands and decided on these On-Stage stands based on features and they looked well made. They are well made but they are packaged poorly. Shipped in a printed cardboard box wrapped in plastic bags with no foam insulation at all. Consequently they are easily damaged in shipping. I ordered two and received one with plastic parts damaged and tubing and paint dinged in several spots. American Musical Supply Customer Service was outstanding in handling the problem and shipped me a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement had some road rash on the metal tubes also, simply a result of poor packaging. These On-Stage stands are on the high side price wise. You would think they could afford to package them better. Two pieces of foam on each end and a couple of pieces of foam wrap would go a long way towards ensuring customers receive the pristine stand they paid dearly for.

I got this package during the Tuesday Two for One deal. When delivered to me, I was missing a pole link. I contacted AMS and they sent me to another department. Well, as to say, it's been two years and I still have not been able to get the link to the pole. I can only use one stand. I've contacted AMS on numerous occasions and I haven't been able to get any help. Everyone, just make sure you are able to adjust if you have this problem. You may not be able to be made whole.

I have a silver lightning package on each stand.
They really light up every bar I've played.
