This Arm Boom with XLR Cable is just what I need. As keyboardist and devotional leader I needed something flexible like this mic boom that can be placed right where I need it and able to re-position as I move is awesome and worry free. Have the mic cables attached are a plus.

Solid built. Silent springs. Holds my 1lbs microphone very well. After repositioning "It stays put". Clamp system works wonderfully well. The included XLR Cable is a plus. I recommend this "On Stage Boom Arm" wholeheartedly.

I gave this 5 Stars, based on functionality only because it doesn't look quite as substantial as more expensive models and to some that may matter, but for those on a tight budget, it works great. The springs are very tight, substantial and yes, they are silent.
I mounted mine with the permanent clamp. (Both edge mount and top table mount are provided}. What's cool about this is the end of the mount is deep enough to allow for free movement without clamping tight. The tight substantial springs are adequate to hold your professional broadcast mic.
