While removing the first pair from the plastic bag, one nylon tip came off. I assumed it was a defective stick but the same thing happened with the second bag. Wothless.

My first time around with these sticks and they feel good in my hands and they handle well off the drums. I will have to try the 5A's next. But I do like the 5b's in this brand.

Bought these as a less expensive practice option. About half of the pack has broken fairly quickly under normal use. I may have received a bad batch so to speak but I was surprised at how many broke quickly. Some sticks have lasted longer until normal wear has set in. It may be hit & miss with these sticks. Guess that is what happens if you go with a less expensive lot of sticks.
